New Delhi, February 27, 2015: On the occasion of its Golden Jubilee celebrations, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, organised Virat Hindu Sammelan on Sunday, March 01, 2015, at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium New Delhi.

Sammelan to have representation of all walks of life and many national & international prestigious dignitaries will address the august gathering. Top saints, spiritual gurus and highest body of VHP will be seen on the dais.

Cow devotees will be able to directly connect with the issues and programmes related to cow brands and other related products to the real service of cow. The exhibition of Hindu Helpline and India Health-line will explain how these two are getting vital to the hindu society for up-liftment of poor & needy in the country.

Participants of the Sammelan will have privilege to watch many exhibitions and stalls apart from getting inspired to donate eye, blood and body organs at the same place.

The whole compound area has been divided into ten zones named after great national heros. It will have a capacity to accommodate around one lakh people. For swift and smooth reach of the vehicles to the venue, six types of parking & traffic stickers have been distributed according to the geographic location of the national capital region. As per the reports pouring in thousands of delegates are coming across the boarders of Delhi. Residents of Bahadurgarh, Sonepat, Faridabad, Ghaziabad & Noida may also witness the large gathering, he added.

नई दिल्ली फ़रवरी 27, 2015. अपनी स्वर्ण जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में विश्व हिन्दू परिषद दिल्ली आगामी रविवार (एक मार्च) को दिल्ली में शायद इतिहास बनाने की तैयारी में है। जवाहर लाल नेहरू स्टेडियम में आयोजित किए जाने वाले विराट हिन्दू सम्मेलन की अब तक की तैयारियों और दिल्ली भर में लगातार चल रही बैठकों से ऐसा प्रतीत हो रहा है कि यह सम्मेलन अनेक दृष्टियों से अनुपम होगा। कार्यक्रम के संयोजक श्री गुरदीन प्रसाद रुस्तगी ने कहा है की एक ओर जहां हिन्दू धर्म के सभी मत-पंथ-संप्रदायों का प्रतिनिधित्व होगा तो वहीं विविध क्षेत्रों की राष्ट्रीय प्रतिभाओं के दर्शन भी एक ही स्थान पर हो सकेंगे। सम्मेलन में भाग लेने वाले प्रतिनिधि न सिर्फ़ देखेंगे व सुनेंगे बल्कि नेत्रदान, रक्त दान तथा अंग दान का संकल्प भी ले सकेंगे।

विस्तृत जानकारी देते हुए विहिप दिल्ली के प्रवक्ता श्री विनोद बंसल ने बताया कि प्रसिद्ध समाज सेवी महाशय धर्म पाल आर्य ध्वज-आरोहण करेंगे तथा पूज्य विशिष्ठ संतों के साथ विहिप के वरिष्ठ पदाधिकारी साक्षात गऊ पूजन व दीप प्रज्वलन कर कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन करेंगे। गजेन्द्र सोलंकी जैसे वरिष्ठ कवि का कविता पाठ होगा तो वहीं अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ख्याति प्राप्त बाबा सत्य नारायण मौर्य द्वारा भारत माता की अनुपम आरती की जाएगी। कार्यक्रम स्थल पर एक ओर हिन्दू हेल्प लाइन तथा इण्डिया हेल्थ लाइन द्वारा देश भर में दी जा रहीं अनुपम सेवाओं कि जानकारी प्रदर्शनी में होगी तो वहीं दूसरी ओर गऊ ब्राण्ड तथा अन्य उत्पादों के माध्यम से गऊ भक्त गऊ माता की वास्तविक सेवा के कार्यक्रमों से सीधे जुड सकेंगे। एक ओर जहां संस्कृत भारती, आर्ट ऑफ़ लिविंग, भारत तिब्बत मैत्री संघ, सुरुचि प्रकाशन व सक्षम जैसे संगठनों की प्रदर्शनी व स्टाल होगी, वहीं दूसरी ओर दधीचि देह दान समिति के माध्यम से लोग अपना नेत्र दान, रक्त दान तथा देह दान का संकल्प लेंगे।

व्यवस्था की दृष्टि से पूरे मैदान को महा पुरुषों के नाम पर दस भागों में विभक्त कर लगभग एक लाख लोगों के बैठने की व्यवस्था की जा रही है। सैंकड़ों वाहनों के स्टेडियम तक सुगम प्रवेश हेतु उनके लिए छह तरह के विशेष स्टीकर दिए गए हैं जो दिल्ली के भौगोलिक आधार पर तय किए गए हैं। दिल्ली के अलावा, राजधानी से सटे हरियाणा के बहादुर गढ, सोनीपत तथा फ़रीदाबाद एवं उत्तर प्रदेश के गाजियाबाद व नोएडा से भी हजारों लोगों के पहुंचने की खबरें मिल रही हैं।

रविवार 01 मार्च 2014 को देश की राजधानी दिल्ली पूरी तरह भगवा रंग में नजर आ रही थी। राजधानी के कोने कोने से भगवा पटका डाले और भगवा झंडा लहराते हुए लोगों के झुंड के झुंड जवाहरलाल नेहरू स्टेडियम की ओर बढ़ रहे थे। यह अवसर था विश्व हिन्दू परिषद् द्वारा आहूत विराट हिन्दू सम्मेलन का। इस सम्मेलन में उमड़े हिन्दुओं का स्वागत करने साक्षात् इंद्रदेव भी उमड़ आए थे। सुबह से बारिश हो रही थी। इतनी बारिश में भी इतनी बड़ी संख्या में हिन्दू सम्मेलन में सहभागी होने आए थे।

सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए ओजस्वी वक्ताओं ने हिन्दुओॆ के जागरण पर जोर दिया। राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सहसरकार्यवाह माननीय सुरेश सोनी जी ने सम्मेलन में आए बड़ी संख्या में हिन्दुओं का आह्वान करते हुए कहा कि देश के सामने जो भी चुनौतियां हैं, उनके समाधान के लिए हिन्दुओं को ही आगे आना होगा।

विश्व हिन्दू परिषद् के अंतरराष्ट्रीय कार्याध्यक्ष डा. प्रवीण भाई तोगड़िया ने सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए सुरक्षित हिन्दू, समृद्ध हिन्दू और सम्मानयुक्त हिन्दू का नारा दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि हिंन्दुओं पर आज सबसे अधिक आक्रमण किए जा रहे हैं। उसकी सुरक्षा किया जाना सर्वाधिक आवश्यक है। उन्होंने कहा कि विश्व हिन्दू परिषद् चाहती है कि देश में हरेक व्यक्ति को भोजन, हर बच्चे को शिक्षा, हर परिवार को घर और हर युवा को रोजगार मिले। इसके लिए ही विश्व हिन्दू परिषद् सतत प्रयासरत है। उन्होंने कहा कि हिंन्दुओं की समृद्धि में ही भारत की समृद्धि निहित है। परिषद् आचरण द्वारा जागृत और समृद्ध हिन्दू बनाएगी। परिषद् द्वारा संचालित हिन्दू हेल्पलाइन और इंडिया हेल्थलाइन के माध्यम से लाखों लोग लाभान्वित हुए हैं। इस योजना को हम निचले स्तर तक ले कर जाएंगे।

बद्रिकाश्रम ज्योतिष्पीठ के शंकराचार्य ने कहा कि हिन्दू धर्म में धर्म परिवर्तन एक अपराध है। परंतु यदि कोई वापस अपने मत में आता है तो उसका स्वागत किया जाना चाहिए। जनसंख्या का धार्मिक असंतुलन देश के लिए आज एक खतरा बनता जा रहा है। हिन्दू समाज को इसकी चिंता करनी होगी।

कड़वे प्रवचन के नाम से अपने ओजस्वी भाषण के लिए प्रसिद्ध जैन मुनि तरूण सागर जी महाराज ने हिंन्दुओं के मतांतरण को रोके जाने और मतांतरित हिंदुओं की घर वापसी पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने सम्मेलन को ललकारते हुए कहा कि लव जिहाद भारत के काले भविष्य का संकेत है। यह गैर मुस्लिमों को मुस्लिम बनाने का एक षड्यंत्र है और इसका पर्दाफाश किया जाना आवश्यक है।

प्रखर हिन्दू योद्धा के रूप में विख्यात डा. सुब्रह्मण्यम स्वामी ने सम्मेलन को आश्वस्त किया कि हिन्दू हित की समस्त कानूनी लड़ाई लड़ने के लिए वे तैयार हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि यह एक लंबी लड़ाई है और इसके लिए बड़ी तैयारी की आवश्यकता है। हिन्दू समाज को एकजुट होकर इस लड़ाई के लिए सन्नध होना होगा।

सम्मेलन को प्रतिष्ठित उद्योगपति व समाज सेवी महाशय धर्मपाल, प्रसिद्ध बौद्ध गुरू रिनपोछे, महामंडलेश्वर स्वामी राघवानंद जी, सुधांशु जी महाराज, विश्व हिन्दू परिषद् के संरक्षक श्री विष्णु हरि डालमिया, अध्यक्ष श्री राघव रेड्डी, संगठन महामंत्री श्री दिनेश चंद्र, केंद्रीय उपाध्यक्ष ओम प्रकाश सिंघल, एड्वोकेट मोनिका अरोडा सहित बड़ी संख्या में साधु-संत और पदाधिकारियों ने भी सम्बोधित किया।

श्री गुरदीन प्रसाद रुस्तगी के संयोजकत्व में सम्मेलन के प्रारंभ में बाबा सत्यनारायण मौर्य जी ने भारत माता की आरती करते हुए एक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किया। उन्होंने देशभक्ति गीतों से सम्मेलन के प्रतिभागियों को बारिश में भी झुमा दिया।

ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ March 01: ಭಾರತದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಧ್ವಜ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿಮಾನ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂತಹವರು ದೇಶ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತೊಲಗಲಿ. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಬೀಳ್ಕೊಡಲು ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಿದ್ಧರಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಗೋರಖಪುರದ ಗೋರಖನಾಥ ಪೀಠಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೋಗಿ ಆದಿತ್ಯನಾಥ ಮಹಾರಾಜರು ಗುಡುಗಿದರು.

ವಿಶ್ವ ಹಿಂದು ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ನಗರದ ನೆಹರು ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ವಿರಾಟ್ ಹಿಂದು ಸಮಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಸನಾತನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಭಾರತವೇ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂವಿಧಾನವೇ ಗ್ರಂಥವಾಗಿದೆ. ಭಾರತ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ಥಾನದ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಪಂದ್ಯ ನಡೆದಾಗ ಭಾರತದ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಸೋಲುಂಟಾದಾಗ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಾಚಣೆ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಹಿಂದುಗಳು ಸಹಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಂತಹ ಘಟನೆಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ವಿಎಚ್‌ಪಿ ತನ್ನದೇ ಆದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ದೇಶ ಪ್ರೇಮ ಮೆರೆಯಲಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಸನಾತನ ಹಿಂದು ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ವಿನಾಶ ಎಂಬುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಬಲವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ಹಿಂದುಗಳಿಗೆ ವರ್ತಮಾನವೂ ಇದೆ. ಭವಿಷ್ಯವೂ ಇದೆ. ಹಿಂದು ಧರ್ಮದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಟಿಪ್ಪು ಸುಲ್ತಾನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಔರಂಗಜೇಬರ್ ವಂಶಸ್ಥರು ಇದೀಗ ಬೀದಿಪಾಲಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಬದುಕು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ರಿಕ್ಷಾ ಓಡಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ದೇಶದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಧ್ವಜ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲದವರು ಪಾಕಿಸ್ಥಾನ ಅಥವಾ ಮತ್ಯಾವುದೇ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಟೋ ನಡೆಸಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ತೊಳೆಯಲಿ ಎಂದು ಆದಿತ್ಯನಾಥ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಗೋ ಹತ್ಯೆ ನಿಷೇಧ ಕಾನೂನು

ಶೇ. ೮೫ರಷ್ಟು ಹಿಂದುಗಳಿರುವ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋ ಹತ್ಯೆ ನಿಷೇಧ ಕಾನೂನು ತರಲು ಈವರೆಗೂ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮೋದಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕಾನೂನು ಇಂದಿಲ್ಲ ನಾಳೆ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಬರುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಮಾತಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಾನೂನು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಒಂದೇ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಬಾರಿ ಮತ ನೀಡುವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇರುವಂತೆಯೇ ಕಾನೂನು ಸಹಾ ಒಂದೇ ರೀತಿಯದ್ದಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದೂ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದರು.

ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ

ದೇಶದ ಕಾನೂನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು, ಕಾನೂನಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಲಭಿಸುವ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಮಾತ್ರ ಮುಂದಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ವಿವಾಹ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹೇರುವಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇವರಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಕಾನೂನು ಇದೆ. ಇದು ಬಹುಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ತಾರತಮ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಕಾನೂನು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಆಸ್ಸಾಂ, ನಾಗಾಲ್ಯಾಂಡ್, ಮಿಜೋರಾಂ, ಮಣಿಪುರ, ತ್ರಿಪುರಾ, ಬಿಹಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದುಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಲು ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಇದು ಗಂಭೀರ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದರು.

ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ

ಸೌದಿ ಅರೇಬಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೆಕ್ಕಾಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳುವ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂರನ್ನು ಆಯಾ ದೇಶದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯತೆಯಿಂದ ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅಂತೆಯೇ, ಭಾರತದ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದುಗಳೆಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದು ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ಗುರುತು ಪಡೆಯಲು ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಿಂದುಗಳು ಯಾವ ಧರ್ಮದ ವಿರೋಗಳೂ ಅಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.

ಯಾರು ಕೋಮುವಾದಿಗಳು?

ಹಿಂದುಗಳು ನಡೆಸುವ ಸಭೆ ಸಮಾರಂಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾನೂನು ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತಹ ಒಂದೇ ಒಂದು ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು ನಡೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ನಡೆಸುವ ಸಮಾರಂಭಗಳು ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತವೆಯೇ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದ ಆದಿತ್ಯನಾಥ, ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಹಿಂದುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೋಮವಾದಿಗಳೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಂತಹವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಪಾಠ ಕಲಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ.

ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಭಕ್ತ ಭಾರತ ಭಕ್ತಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ಗ್ರಂಥ ಭಾರತದ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಎಂದು ಸಾರಿದ್ದರೇ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳೇ ಇರುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದ ಅವರು, ಒಂದೇ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ, ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಆಡಳಿತಗಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಒಂದೇ ಕಾನೂನು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾರಿಯಾದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಕಲ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಲಭಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಹಿಂದುಗಳು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪ್ರೇಮವನ್ನು ಮೈಗೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ದೇಶ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ವಿಎಚ್‌ಪಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರು ವಿನಂತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.

ವಿಎಚ್‌ಪಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಿಯ ಸಂಘಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಗೋಪಾಲಜಿ ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಧಾರವಾಡ ಮುರುಘಾಮಠದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನ ಶ್ರೀಗಳು, ಹಾವೇರಿ ಹುಕ್ಕೇರಿಮಠದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸದಾಶಿವ ಶ್ರೀಗಳು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

Belagavi March 01: Mega Hindu Samajotsav was organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad at Belagavi in Karnataka on Sunday noon. Uttara Pradesh’s BJP MP Yogi Adityanath, VHP zonal organising secretary Gopal addressed the gathering.

Mangaluru March 01: The coastal town of Mangaluru witnessed another largest gathering today, as Vishwa Hindu Parishad organised mega Hindu Samajotsav on Sunday evening.

One of the fluent youngest Hindutva speaker on big gatherings in India, the 18year old Pujya Sadhwi Balika Saraswati addressed the mega gathering at Mengaluru. Sadhwai received warm welcome by Mangalurians, her speech inspired men in saffron at the coastal town. The slogan Bharat Mata Ki Jay touched sky when the Sadhwai about to start her speech.

VHP’s Golden Jubilee celebration Comittee National President Dr Veerendra Heggade, Pujya Pejawar Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji addressed the gathering. The event was organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad to commemorate its Golden Jubilee celebrations.

Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr Veerendra Heggade released the souvenir “Suvarna Sinchana” on the occasion. Heggade said all Swamijis in the region should unite to make the Hindu community stronger. VHP state President M B Puranik briefed on the activities of the organisation during the previous year.

The grand procession as part of the Samajotsava was flagged off by VHP leaders Ganesh Rao and Vijanath Shetty along with Odiyoor Gurudevananda Swamiji by releasing balloons in the air at the Ambedkar circle. The city was virtually saffronised by banners and flags and the procession comprised tableaux and other decorations.

Kollam March 01: Local RSS Swayamsevaks cleaned premises of Mundakkal Thumbhara Devi Temple hours after  the complettion of annual festival of the temple at Kollam in Kerala on March 01, Sunday.

Shastri Nagar Chennai March 01: A youth team of 13 RSS Swayamsevaks of RSS local unit in Shastri Nagar of Chennai engaged themselves in a seva activity at the premises of a Library and Siddha Hospital campus, for 3 hours.

RSS Swayamsevaks segregated the waste separately into bio-degradable and non bio-degradable units. Swayamsevaks heaped the bio-degradable waste around the trees and used Ghana Jeevamritham spray on it for faster degradation. “It was a very satisfying experience for all of us” said a Youth Swayamsevak who was part of this CLEAN CAMPUS CAMPAIGN.

Bengaluru March 02: Karnataka Govt to award prestigious ‘NAADOJA Prashasti‘ for veteran Journalist, RSS Ideologue Dr SR Ramaswamy. The award will be given by Hampi University of Karnataka. The Naadoja award will be conferred to Dr SR Ramaswamy on March 06, 2015 during the convocation ceremony of Hampi University.

Dr SR Ramaswamy serves as President of Rashtrotthana Parishat, a leading social organisation of Karnataka inspired by Rashtreeya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS). Since 1979, Dr SR Ramaswamy serving as Editor of Utthana, a popular Monthly published by Rashtrotthana Parishat since 4 decades.

Sri S.R.Ramaswamy has for over twenty-five years been active in environmental campaigns.  Among his major campaigns is a movement he carried on for restoration of people’s customary rights over community lands threatened by forestry policies.  In addition to awareness building, field activity, and lobbying at administrative and legislative levels, he also led litigation for these causes in various courts including the Supreme Court.

ಅನೇಕ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಾಹಿತಿಗಳ ಒಡನಾಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಡಿ.ವಿ. ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪ, ವಿ.ಸೀತಾರಾಮಯ್ಯ, ರಾಳ್ಲಪಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಂತಕೃಷ್ಣಶರ್ಮ, ವೀರಕೇಸರಿ ಸೀತಾರಾಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಧೀಮಂತರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಬರೆದ ವ್ಯಕಿಚಿತ್ರಮಾಲೆ ’ದೀವಟಿಗೆಗಳು’ (೧೯೯೮) ಒಂದು ಅನುಪಮ ಕೃತಿಯೆನಿಸಿದೆ.  ಈಗಿನ ಜಗದ್‌ವ್ಯಾಪಿ ತುಮುಲಗಳ ಬೇರುಗಳಿರುವುದು ಎರಡು ಭಿನ್ನ ಜೀವನದೃಷ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ – ಎಂದು  ಅವರ  ’ನಾಗರಿಕತೆಗಳ  ಸಂಘರ್ಷ’  ಕೃತಿ  (೨೦೧೦) ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದೆ.

ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಕಳೆದ ಐವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ೧೦೦೦ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಧ್ಯಯನಪೂರ್ಣ ಲೇಖನಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ಸೋಲಿಗರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಇವರು ಬರೆದ ಲೇಖನಕ್ಕೂ (೧೯೮೩), ಭೂಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕುರಿತ ಲೇಖನಕ್ಕೂ (೧೯೮೪) ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಬರಹ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆನರಾ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಬಹುಮಾನ ದೊರೆತಿದೆ.

ಪತ್ರಿಕೋದ್ಯಮ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ೨೦೦೬ರಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರಿಗೆ ’ಆರ್ಯಭಟ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ’ ದೊರೆತಿದೆ.  ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ೨೦೦೮ರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯೂ ಇವರಿಗೆ ದೊರೆತಿದೆ.  ೨೦೧೧ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮುಕ್ತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಇವರ ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಗೌರವಾರ್ಥ ಡಾಕ್ಟರೇಟ್ (ಆ.ಐiಣಣ.) ನೀಡಿದೆ.   ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯಿಂದ ೨೦೧೦ರ ವರ್ಷದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ದೊರೆತಿದೆ.

ಹತ್ತಾರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟದ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಪರ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನಿಲವನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಸರಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯಪೋಷಕ ಚಿಂತನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿರುವುದಲ್ಲದೆ ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಈ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳ ಆಂದೋಲನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ತಮ್ಮ ಲೇಖನಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸದಾ ಸಮಾಜಾಭಿಮುಖ ದಿಶೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿನಿಯೋಗಿಸುತ್ತ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಚಿಂತಕರು, ಎಸ್.ಆರ್.ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿ.

Bhubaneshwar/Bengaluru March 02: Senior RSS Pracharak and Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s veteran leader from Odisha, Sridhar Acharya passed away at New Delhi on March 01, Sunday morning.

Born in Mangaluru of Karnataka in 1928, Acharya became a ‘Pracharak’ of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in 1950 and dedicated himself for a social cause till his last breath. Currently he was serving as a senior VHP functionary in Odisha. Acharya was the first organizing secretary of Bharatiya Jansangh in Odisha. Hundreds of swayamsevaks gathered on this occasion and paid tribute to him.

Acharya paved the way for nationalistic thinking in western Odisha as in Kalahandi and  Bolangir. A new era of BJP also grew during his time. The works of Jansangh was well appericiated by people under his leadership. He also smoothly carried out the works of  Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Odisha.

In the condolence meeting held at Saraswati Vidyamandir in Bhubaneshwar on March 02, Monday evening, V Bhagaiah, Akhil Bharatiya Boudhik Pramukh addressed the gathering remembering the legacy of Sridhar Acharya. Senior social activist Gopal Prasad Mohapatra, State General Secretary of Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram Dr.Laxmikanta Dash, RSS Pranta Mahavidyalaya Pramukh Tanmaya Mohapatra and Bipra Charan Tripathy of Sahakar Bharti expressed deep condolences and paid tributes to Sridhar Acharya.

ವೇದವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶೋಧಸಂಸ್ಥಾನಮ್

ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಿಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ:

ಯಂತ್ರಪ್ರಧಾನವಾದ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಪ್ರಧಾನವಾದ ಈ ಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದೂ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣೀಕರಿಸಿರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅದು ಆಧುನಿಕ ಯುವಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.  ಯಜ್ಞವೆಂಬುದು ಕೇವಲ ಕೃತಯುಗದ ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿರದೆ ಕಲಿಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದು ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಮಾಣೀಕರಿಸುವುದು ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದಿಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಚಲನಶೀಲವಾದ ಈ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಿಂದ ಯಜ್ಞವು ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲೌಚಿತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.

ಈ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾಕಾರಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ವೇದವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶೋಧಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರುದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ International Conference on “The Relevance of Yajna for a Healthy Society: ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಿಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನವು ’ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ, ದಿ ಮಿಥಿಕ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿ, ಎಸ್.ವ್ಯಾಸ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳ’ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ  ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಜರುಗಿತು. ಈ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ  ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಾದ  ವಝುಭಾಯು ರುಡಾಭಾಯಿ ವಾಲಾ’ ಇವರು ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ’ಸಾಮಾಜಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಜ್ಞದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ’ ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯವು ಕೇವಲ ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಸ್ಟೇ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿರದೇ ಇಡೀ ಪ್ರಪಂಚಕ್ಕೇ ಆವಶ್ಯಕವಾದ ವಿಷಯ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದರು. ವೇದಗಳಿಂದ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ವಾಙ್ಮಯಗಳೂ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲು ಅತ್ಯಾವಶ್ಯಕ ಎಂದರು. ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ’ಸರಳ ಜೀವನ ಉನ್ನತ ಚಿಂತನ’ ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಣೇ ಗೈದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ’ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾದ್ದನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲೇ ಬೇಕು’ ಎಂದು ಮನವರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಇತರರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿ ತಾನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯರಿಗೆ ಆನಂದವಿದೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸುವುದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಎಂದು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಸರ್ವೇ ಭವಂತು ಸುಖಿನಃ ಸಂತು ಎಂಬ ಶ್ಲೋಕದ ಭಾವವನ್ನು ಉದಾಹರಿಸಿ, ಸರ್ವೇ ಎಂಬ ಶಬ್ದದ ಅರ್ಥ ಕೇವಲ್ಲ ಹಿಂದು ಅಥವಾ ಕೇವಲ ಭಾರತೀಯರಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಮನುಕುಲದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ ಎಲ್ಲ ಚರಾಚರ ಪ್ರಪಂಚಕ್ಕೂ ಮಂಗಲವಾಗಲಿ ಎಂಬುದೇ ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕದ ಸಂದೇಶ. ಇದೇ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಮೂಲ ಅಥವಾ ಸಾರ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದರು. ಗೀತೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ಮಾತು ’ಕರ್ಮಣ್ಯೇವಾಧಿಕಾರಃ ತೇ’ ಎಂಬ ಶ್ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಉದಾಹರಿಸಿದರು. ಬ್ರಿಟೀಶ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮೊಗಲರ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾವುದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಅನೂಚಾನವಾಗಿ ಪಾಲನೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದೆವೋ ಅಂತಹ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಇಂದು ಟಿ.ವಿ. ಪ್ರಭಾವದಿಂದ ನಶಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಹಿಂದಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ’ನಲಂದಾ ತಕ್ಷಶಿಲಾ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಲ್ಲೇ ವಸ್ತುತಃ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ರೂಪಿತಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಅಂತಹ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಈ ಗುರುಕುಲವಾಗಲಿ’ ಎಂದರು. ನಮ್ಮ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವವೂ ಕುಡಾ ಕೇವಲ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ ಅದು ಅಂತಃಸತ್ವವರ್ಧನೆಗಾಗಿ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಿಯ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕ ಸಂಘದ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಸರಸಂಘಚಾಲಕರ ಸಂದೇಶವಾದ ’ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಾಯ ಸ್ವಾಹಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಾಯ ಇದಂ ನ ಮಮ’ ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ’ಭಾರತ ಮಾತಾ ಕೀ ಜೈ’ ಘೋಷಣೆನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೋ. ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ಭಟ್ಟ ಕೋಟೆಮನೆ ಇವರು ಯೋಗವು ಇಂದು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ವಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನೂ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ವಿಧಾನವನ್ನಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸುವ ಗುರುತರವಾದ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆ ನಮ್ಮದಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದರು. ಜೀವನವೇ ಯಜ್ಞಮಯವಾಗಬೇಕು ಆಗಮಾತ್ರ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸಫಲವಾಗುವುದೆಂದರು. ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಏಮ್.ಕೆ.ಎಲ್.ಎನ್. ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಮಿಥಿಕ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿ, ಡಾ. ಆರ್. ನಾಗರತ್ನಾ ಎಸ್.ಸ್ವ್ಯಾಸ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ, ಪ್ರೋ. ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ವರಖೇಡಿ ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಃ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಗಣ್ಯರು ವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದರು. ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖನೀಯ ಅಂಶವೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮಂಗಲವು ಭಾರತೀಯವಾದ ಶುದ್ಧ ಗೋವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಗ್ರಾಸವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಪನ್ನಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಯಜ್ಞಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿನಿಗಳು ಆಕರ್ಷಣೀಯಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಯಜ್ಞದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುವ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳು, ಸೋಮಯಾಗದ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣದ ದರ್ಶನ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖನೀಯ. ವೇದವಿಜ್ಞಾನಗುರುಕುಲೀಯ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಂತೆ ಶ್ರೌತ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ತ ಕರ್ಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಷ್ಣಾತರಾದ ನಿತ್ಯ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ-ಅಧ್ಯಾಪನಪರರಾದ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರಿಗೆ ’ಅಧ್ವರೀಂದ್ರ’ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ವೇದಮೂರ್ತಿ ಯಜ್ಞಪತಿ ಭಟ್ಟ ಗೋಕರ್ಣ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಸಂದಾಯವಾಯಿತು.

ಸಮಗ್ರ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಸತ್ರದ ಪಥದರ್ಶಕ ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು ಮೀಮಾಂಸಾ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಂಡಿತರಾದ ವಿದ್ವಾನ್ ದೇವದತ್ತ ಪಾಟೀಲ ಪುಣೆ ಇವರು ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಮೀಮಾಂಸಾ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವು ಯಜ್ಞನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜೈಮಿನೀಯ ಮೀಮಾಂಸಾ ಸೂತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ೧೨ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಾರವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾರೋಪಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ ೯ ಅವಧಿಗಳು ಸಂಪನ್ನಗೊಂಡವು. ಸುಮಾರು ೩೫ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶೋಧಪ್ರಬಂಧವನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಎಲ್ಲ ಶೋಧಪ್ರಬಂಧಗಳೂ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಆಕರ್ಷಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇತ್ತು ಎಂಬುದು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖನೀಯ. ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನ ದಿನಾಂಕ ೧/೩/೨೦೧೫ ರಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ವಕ್ತಾರರಾಗಿ ಆಯ್.ಆಯ್.ಟಿ ಮುಂಬೈ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ. ರಾಮಸುಬ್ರಹ್ಮಣ್ಯ ಇವರು ಯಜ್ಞದ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಆರ್ಷ ಮತ್ತು ಆಧುನಿಕ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದರು. ಸಮೂಹ ಚರ್ಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ (panel discussion) ಶುದ್ಧ ಶ್ರೌತ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ತ ಕರ್ಮಗಳ ಸ್ವರೂಪ, ಆಯುರ್ವೇದ, ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯ, ಮತ್ತು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು ಅರಿತ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರು ಸೇರಿ, ಭಾಗಗ್ರಹಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಜಿಜ್ಞಾಸುಗಳ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.

ಎರಡನೆ ದಿನ ೧/೩/೨೦೧೫ ರಂದು ಭಾನುವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಸೋಮಯಾಜಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ನರಸಿಂಹ ಶಿವರಾಮ ಭಟ್ಟ ಇವರು ಪುನರ್ವಸೂ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರೇಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಇದು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಶ್ರೌತಕರ್ಮದ ಸ್ವರೂಪದ ಪ್ರಾತ್ಯಕ್ಷಿಕ ಅನುಭವವಾಯಿತು. ಯಜಮಾನ ದಂಪತಿಗಳು, ಋತ್ವಿಜರು ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಲ ಭಾಗಗ್ರಹೀತೃಗಳ ಆಕಲನವು ಉಆಗಿ ಯಂತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಯಜ್ಞಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಆಕಲನಕ್ಕಿಂತ  ಯಜ್ಞದ ನಂತರ ಪಡೆದ ಆಕಲನವು ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿತ್ತೆಂಬುದು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖನೀಯ.

ಮೂರನೇ ದಿನ ೨/೩/೨೦೧೫ ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ತಕರ್ಮವಾದ ಧನ್ವಂತರೀ ಹೋಮವು ಯಥಾ ವಿಧಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಈ ಯಾಗಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೂ ಕೂಡಾ ಋತ್ವಿಜರ ಆಕಲನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ನಾಲ್ಕು ದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ, ೯ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ, ೪೦ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು ೧೫೦ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.

Chicken Neck, West Bengal March 05: Aiming the upliftment of rural Indian life in villages, RSS Former national functionary Sitarama Kedilaya lead Bharat Parikrama Yatra has entered West Bengal, making the 14th state to reach during his mega walkathon on its non-stop 937th day today.

The yatra entered West Bengal from neighbour state of Bihar’s Kishan Ganj district. Sitarama Kedilaya to travel in West Bengal’s Uttara Bang Pranth till March 24th. On March 25, Bharat Parikrama Yatra to enter Assam. Till December 2015, Bharat Parikrama Yatra will travel in North East States including Arunachal Pradesh, the most eastern state of India. In January 2016, the Yatra will return to West Bengal state but continue its journey in Dakshin Bang Pranth and then to reach Odisha in February 2016.

The Bharat Parikrama Yatra had entered Bihar on December 31, 2014 through Gopal Ganj district which is mostly a plain and fertile land. In the district’s western part, the Gandaki river flows southwards, Gopalganj is in the northwest of Bihar state and is adjacent to Uttar Pradesh.

During his 65 days long Yatra in Bihar, Sitarama Kedilaya visited several historical places. He visited Mithilapuri, the place where Sita was born as per Ramayana literature. Kedilaya also visited Girijasthan, where Sita used to come from Janakapur to a garden to collect flowers. At the same place Lord Ram, met Sita when he was in Vishwamitra Maharshi’s Ahrama. The place is also called Madhuvani. Sitarama Kedilaya visited Girija Mandir, a local temple there.

67 year old Sitarama Kedilaya has now completed this 11,000 kilometers by his mega walk.  The Yatra was started on August 09, 2012 from Kanyakumari.

In his brief interaction with RSS Media Centre Vishwa Samvada Kendra-Karnataka, Sitarama Kedilaya said “Yatra has received good response in Bihar. Aa span of about 10 kilo metres will be covered on a daily basis by foot, after which he will take rest in the village that falls in the vicinity. The primary task he has to undertake will be to get in touch with the youth and the prominent members of the village and discuss important issues like care of sick. This will include the handicapped, blind etc. Other activities like taking a round of the entire village and engaging in a collective session of prayer at the village temple. This will help create a bond of great depth with the people, which will help the villagers realize that villages were, once upon a time, a single encompassing family. However, this feeling has taken a back seat now, which has led to a whole lot of problems everywhere. This has now escalated to national and international levels. The feeling of unity, along with creation of family bonds, if brought back to villages will ensure restoration of harmony to a great extent. This could be instrumental in the rekindling of the concept of ‘Vasudha Eva Kudumbakam’. And then, the journey will resume to the next village. ”

Bengaluru March 06: Chanting the slogan for national integrity and social harmony; RSS Swayamsevaks celebrated the festival of colours, the Holi on Friday. 

Holi is a spring festival, also known as the festival of colours or the festival of love.I t is an ancient Hindu religious festival.
It is primarily observed in India, Nepal, and other regions of the world with significant populations of Hindus or people of Indian origin. The festival has, in recent times, spread to parts of Europe and North America as a spring celebration of love, frolic, and colours.

Holi celebrations start with a Holika bonfire on the night before Holi where people gather, sing and dance. The next morning is a free-for-all carnival of colours, where participants play, chase and colour each other with dry powder and coloured water, with some carrying water guns and coloured water-filled balloons for their water fight. Anyone and everyone is fair game, friend or stranger, rich or poor, man or woman, children and elders. The frolic and fight with colours occurs in the open streets, open parks, outside temples and buildings. Groups carry drums and musical instruments, go from place to place, sing and dance. People visit family, friends and foes to throw colours on each other, laugh and chit-chat, then share Holi delicacies, food and drinks. Some drinks are intoxicating. For example, Bhang, an intoxicating ingredient made from cannabis leaves, is mixed into drinks and sweets and consumed by many. In the evening, after sobering up, people dress up, visit friends and family.

Holi is celebrated at the approach of vernal equinox, on the Phalguna Purnima (Full Moon). The festival date varies every year, per the Hindu calendar, and typically comes in March, sometimes February in the Gregorian Calendar. The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair ruptured relationships.
There is a symbolic legend to explain why holi is well celebrated as a colour fest. The word “Holi” originates from “Holika”, the evil sister of demon king Hiranyakashipu. King Hiranyakashipu had earned a boon that made him virtually indestructible. The special powers blinded him, he grew arrogant, thought he was God, and demanded that everyone worship only him.

Hiranyakashipu’s own son, Prahlada, however, disagreed. He was and remained devoted to Vishnu. This infuriated Hiranyakashipu. He subjected Prahlada to cruel punishments, none of which affected the boy or his resolve to do what he thought was right. Finally, Holika – Prahlada’s evil aunt – tricked him into sitting on a pyre with her. Holika was wearing a cloak (shawl) that made her immune to injury from fire, while Prahlada was not. As the fire roared, the cloak flew from Holika and encased Prahlada.Holika burned, Prahlada survived. Vishnu appeared and killed Hiranyakashipu. The bonfire is a reminder of the symbolic victory of good over evil, of Prahlada over Hiranyakashipu, of fire that burned Holika.The day after Holika bonfire is celebrated as Holi.

In Braj region of India, where Krishna grew up, the festival is celebrated for 16 days (until Rangapanchmi) in commemoration of the divine love of Radha for Krishna, a Hindu deity. The festivities officially usher in spring, with Holi celebrated as festival of love. There is a symbolic myth behind commemorating Krishna as well. Baby Krishna transitioned into his characteristic dark blue skin colour because a she demon Putana poisoned him with her breast milk. In his youth, Krishna despairs whether fair skinned Radha and other Gopikas (girls) will like him because of his skin colour. His mother, tired of the desperation, asks him to approach Radha and colour her face in any colour he wanted. This he does, and Radha and Krishna became a couple. The playful colouring of the face of Radha has henceforth been commemorated as Holi. Beyond India, these legends to explain the significance of Holi (Phagwah) are common in some Caribbean and South American communities of Indian origin such as Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago.

Holi festival has other cultural significance. It is the festive day to end and rid oneself of past errors, end conflicts by meeting others, a day to forget and forgive. People pay or forgive debts, as well as deal anew with those in their lives. Holi also marks the start of spring, and for many the start of new year.

Bengaluru March 08: 50 new books were added to the list of Bharata Bharati series, as newly penned 50 books on different personalities were launched in Bengaluru on Sunday morning. Now the total number of books reached 610.

Bharata-Bharati, is a mega project on small books on personalities who contributed for social welfare being expertised in different walks of social life. The project initiated by Rashtrotthana Parishat, an RSS inspired NGO of Karnataka. In the first series 510 books were released in 1971. 50 new books were released in 2014. Now 50 books were added leading to a total of 610.

Bharata-Bharati book has set a record of on its production and sale, being the Largest sold book series ever in the history of Karnataka literature and print industry. The Bharata Bharti book series has reached almost all schools, student libraries of Karnataka, crossing a record sale about 20lakh books.

On the release ceremony on Sunday, in which new 50 books were released, veteran poet Dr HS Venkatesh Murthy launched new 50 books. Naadoja Dr SR Ramaswamy, President of Rashtrotthana Paroshat, Chiranjeevi, Present Editor of Bharata-Bharati series, N Dinesh Hegde, General Secretary of Rashtrotthana Parishat were on the dais. Veteran RSS Pracharaks Mai Cha Jayadev, Chandrashekar Bhandary were present.

New list of books includes Chyavan Maharshi, Takazi Shivashankar Pillai, Kalpana Chawla, Yadav Rao Joshi, Bhupen Hazarika, Bismilla Khan, Basavaraja Rajguru, Queen Gaidin Liu, Shakuntala Devi, Dr Rajkumar, Dr Salim Ali and many other prominent personalities.

ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಾಹಿತಿಗಳು, ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತರು ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರೂ ಆದ ನಾಡೋಜ ಡಾ. ಎಸ್ ಆರ್ ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮೃದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ರಚನೆಯು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಾನಂತರ ಕುಂಠಿತಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದರು. ಈ ಕೊರತೆಯನ್ನು ತೂಗಿಸುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ೧೯೬೦ರ ದಶಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಆರಂಭದ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನೆಯುತ್ತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ವೈಚಾರಿಕ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಬ್ರಾಂಡ್ ಕ್ರಿಯೇಶನ್ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಸಾಹತ್ಯದ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಆಯಿತು. ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಭಾರತ ಭಾರತಿ, ಭುಗಿಲು ಮುಂತಾದ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಸರಣಿಗಳು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲುಗಳಾದವು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಶತಮಾನದ ತಿರುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಯ ಎರಡು ಧ್ರುವ, ಕೋಲ್ಮಿಂಚು ಮುಂತಾದ ಹತ್ತಾರು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಮಹತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನವು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ ಅನೇಕ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಕೃತಿಗಳು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳ ಆಕರ ಗ್ರಂಥಗಳಾದವು ಎಂದು ನುಡಿದರು.

ಭಾರತ ಭಾರತಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಸಂಪದ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು ೧೯೭೧ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಯ ಬೀಜಾಂಕುರವಾಗಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಾಹಿತಿ ಎಲ್ ಎಸ್ ಶೇಷಗಿರಿರಾವ್ ಅವರ ಸಂಪಾದಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರಬಂದ ಭಾರತ ಭಾರತಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಮಾಲಿಕೆಯು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಐಡೆಂಟಿಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದುಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು. ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಸಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತು ಬಹುಮುಖ ಚಟುವಟಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತಾರಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಾಂದಿ ಹಾಡಿತು ಎಂದರು.

ಎರಡನೇ ಸಂಪದದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಂಪಾದಕತ್ವ ವಹಿಸಿರುವ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಾಹಿತಿ ಚಿರಂಜೀವಿಯವರು ಎರಡನೇ ಸರಣಿಯ ಯೋಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು.

ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆವಹಿಸಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ಎಚ್ ಎಸ್ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶಮೂರ್ತಿಯವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಭಾರತ ಭಾರತಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಸರಣಿಯು ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೆನೆಯುತ್ತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮುಕ್ತಕಂಠದಿಂದ ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು.

ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡನೇ ಸಂಪದದ ಎರಡನೇ ಕಂತಿನ ಐವತ್ತು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿಸಿದ ಲೇಖಕರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಕುಮಾರಿ ಕಾವೇರಿ ಅಯ್ಯಪ್ಪರವರ ಸುಶ್ರಾವ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೊಂದಿಗ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡಿತು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿಣಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ನಾರಾಯಣರವರು ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮಹನೀಯರನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು, ವಿಘ್ನೇಶ್ವರ ಭಟ್ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು, ಉತ್ಥಾನ ಮಾಸಿಕದ ಸಂಪಾದಕ ಕಾಕುಂಜೆ ಕೇಶವ ಭಟ್‌ರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದರು. ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ನಾ ದಿನೇಶ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ರಾಸ್ವಸಂಘದ ಹಿರಿಯರಾದ ಮೈ ಚ ಜಯದೇವ, ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ ಬಂಢಾರಿ ಮುಂತಾದವರು ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು.

ಲೋಕಾರ್ಪಣೆಗೊಂಡ ಎರಡನೇ ಕಂತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರಾಣ ಋಷಿ ಚ್ಯವನ, ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತ ಸಂಗೀತಗಾರರಾದ ಭೂಪೆನ್ ಹಜಾರಿಕಾ, ಉಸ್ತಾದ್ ಬಿಸ್ಮಿಲ್ಲಾ ಖಾನ್, ಬಸವರಾಜ ರಾಜಗುರು, ಸಿತಾರ್ ಮಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಪಂಡಿತ್ ರವಿಶಂಕರ, ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಾಹಿತಿಗಳಾದ ತ ಸು ಶಾಮರಾವ್, ಗೌರೀಶ್ ಕಾಯ್ಕಿಣಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೆಸ್ಸೆಸ್‌ನ ಆದ್ಯ ಪ್ರವರ್ತಕರಾದ ಯಾದವ್‌ರಾವ್ ಜೋಷಿ, ಪೂರ್ವೋತ್ತರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ರಾಣಿ ಗಾಯ್‌ಡಿನ್ ಲೂ, ಮಾನವ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಎಂದೇ ಹೆಸರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಗಣಿತಜ್ಞೆ ಶಕುಂತಲಾ ದೇವಿ, ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ತಾರೆಗಳಾದ ಡಾ. ರಾಜಕುಮಾರ, ಪಿ ಬಿ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್, ಪಕ್ಷಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಸಲೀಂ ಅಲಿ, ಗಗನಯಾತ್ರಿ ಕಲ್ಪನಾ ಚಾವ್ಲಾ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಮಹನೀಯರ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು ಪ್ರಟಕಗೊಂಡಿವೆ.

ಈ ಸರಣಿಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿದ ಲೇಖಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್ ಎಸ್ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀನಾರಾಯಣ ಭಟ್ಟ, ಚಿರಂಜೀವಿ, ಈಶ್ವರಚಂದ್ರ, ಬಾಬು ಕೃಷ್ಣಮೂರ್ತಿ, ಎಚ್ ಜಿ ಸೋಮಶೇಖರ ರಾವ್, ಖಾದ್ರಿ ಅಚ್ಯುತನ್ ಮುಂತಾದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಾಹಿತಿಗಳಲ್ಲದೇ ಸುಘೋಷ್ ನಿಗಳೆ, ಮೊಳಹಳ್ಳಿ ಅನಿಲಕುಮಾರ್ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಯುವ ಬರಹಗಾರರೂ ಸೇರಿದ್ದು ಇನ್ನೊಂದ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿದೆ.

Addressing a rally to mark the golden jubilee of the organisation here, VHP president Dr Pravin Togadia said, “People of India today feel ashamed for the remarks of Mufti Sayeed praising Pakistan and separatist Hurriyat for smooth Assembly polls in J&K.”

RSS Pranth Sanghchalak Brigadier Suchet Singh, BJP state president Jugal Kishore Sharma and its general secretary (organisation) Ashok Koul as well as several party legislators attended the event.

Reasserting that Article 370 of the Indian Constitution will be scrapped, Dr Togadia said that “two Constitutions and two separate laws will not be allowed in this country”.

“Let me tell you that Article 370 will go. It will have to go,” he said. “The Prime Minister can become MP from any part of the country, but he cannot contest even municipal corporation elections in Srinagar. We are not going to tolerate it any more.”

He said that J&K had acceded to India under similar conditions as Hyderabad and Junagarh, and asked why, then, it should be given special status. He also made a strong pitch for granting citizenship rights to refugees from West Pakistan. “Any government opposed to it is not acceptable to us,” he said.

Togadia was visiting the state after nearly three years. He last addressed a rally in March 2012 in Rajouri town. At the time, the police had filed a case against him for creating communal tension there. Afterwards, whenever he came, he was sent back by the state government.

On Sunday, a charged up Togadia said, “Mufti Sayeed, you should have thanked the people of the state who have made you CM… The people of India are not going to tolerate it. You should work for taking the state on a path of peace, progress and prosperity, otherwise they will catch hold of you by the ear and make you sit at home.”

Asking Mufti to apologise for his remarks, he added, “Are you going to contest the next Assembly elections in Pakistan?… You are sitting in power at the mercy of Hindus.”

Demanding that Alam be re-arrested, he said, “Do not fool people that he has been let off by taking legal recourse. How was he in jail earlier? Raising slogan of ‘Go India, go’ on Indian soil amounts to treason and the only punishment for such people is hanging.”

He also said Sayeed was going to commit another mistake by recruiting surrendered terrorists into the police. “By doing so, are you going to create a Pakistani army in the state police? The task of removing him from office rests with nationalist people of Jammu in case he continues with such decisions,” he added.

Asking the CM to focus on development, Togadia said, “Don’t you want children to get education, have jobs, become doctors or engineers?  Do you want to ruin their prospects of employment, progress and prosperity by creating Islamic terrorism in the state?” “If Pakistan had any brain, it too would have created IITs and IIMs,” he added.

Udupi March 9: The land of Krishna once again became place of inspiration for Vishwa Hindu Parishad karyakarta’s as huge gathering turned out to witness mega Hindu Samajotsav at MGM Grounds in Udupi on Monday evening.

VHP Chief Dr Pravin Togadia supposed to address the Hindu Samajotsav, but Udupi district administration had imposed a week long ban on him from entering Udupi.

Prashant Hartalkar, Inchagege of Vishwa Vibhag of VHP delivered the key note address. VHP Zonal organising secretary Gopal, VHP golden jubilee committee’s Pejawar Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji, Dr Mohan Alva, Prof MB Puranik, several other socio-religious leaders and thousands of citizens attended the mega event.

VHP leaders unanimously condemned ban on Dr Pravin Togadia. A spectacular shobhayatra was held prior to Hindu Samajotsav ceremony.

ಅ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಪಂಚೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಜುಬ್ಬದ ಅಪ್ಪಟ ಖಾದಿ ಉಡುಪು. ಹೆಗಲಿನಲ್ಲೊಂದು ನೇತಾಡುವ ಭಾರವಾದ ಚೀಲ. ಆ ಚೀಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಫಿ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಕ್, ಸುಗಂಧಭರಿತ ಅಡಿಕೆಪುಡಿ, ಒಂದಷ್ಟು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ. ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೊಂದು ದಪ್ಪ ಕನ್ನಡಕ. ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೋ ಅಥವಾ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರನ್ನಾದರೂ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೋ ಎಂಬ ಗೊಂದಲದ ನೋಟ. ಅವರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದೇ ಹಾಗೆ. ಗಾಂಧಿಬಜಾರಿನ ತರಕಾರಿ ಅಂಗಡಿಯ ಬಳಿ ಅಥವಾ ಬುಲ್ ಟೆಂಪಲ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಗಲಿಗೆ ಚೀಲ ಏರಿಸಿ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರಂತೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡೇ ಓಡಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ದೃಶ್ಯ ಈಗಲೂ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ವಯಸ್ಸಾದರೋ ಈಗ ೭೮ಕ್ಕೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ!

‘ಹೇಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಸರ್?’ ಎಂದು ಆತ್ಮೀಯರು ಕೇಳಿದರೆ, ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ‘`better than tomorrow’’ ಎಂಬ ಉತ್ತರ. ಆ ಉತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಬಗೆಯ ತಿಳಿಹಾಸ್ಯ. ನಾಳೆಗಿಂತ ಇಂದು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಪರವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದು ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥ. ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕೇಳಿದವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದೆರಡು ನಿಮಿಷಗಳಾದರೂ ಬೇಕು! ತನಗಿಂತ ಕಿರಿಯರು ಭೇಟಿಯಾದಾಗ ಹೆಗಲ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಹಾಕಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಸ್ವಭಾವ. ಗಣ್ಯರು, ಹಿರಿಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಗೌರವದ ಗಂಭೀರ ವರ್ತನೆ. ತನ್ನ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಕಾಲುಭಾಗದ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಪಡ್ಡೆ ಹುಡುಗರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಗುನಗುತ್ತಾ ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಮಸಾಲೆಭರಿತ ನಾಟಕ, ಸಿನಿಮಾ ನೋಡಲು ಹೋಗುವ ಅವರು, ಉಳಿದ ವೇಳೆ ಶ್ರೀಮದ್ಗಾಂಭೀರ್ಯದ ಮೂರ್ತಿ. ಅನೇಕರಿಗೆ ಇವರು ಹೀಗೇಕೆ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಅಂತರಂಗವನ್ನು ಅರಿತವರಿಗೆ ಅವರೆಷ್ಟು ಸಹೃದಯವಂತರು, ಆತ್ಮೀಯರು ಎಂಬ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದ ಆಪ್ತ ಅನುಭವ.

ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ ೬ರಂದು ಹಂಪಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಿಂದ ನಾಡೋಜ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿರುವ ಎಸ್.ಆರ್. ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರದಿಂದ ಬಲ್ಲವರಿಗೆ ಮೇಲಿನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅದೆಷ್ಟು ಅನ್ವರ್ಥಕವೆಂದು ಅನಿಸದಿರದು. ಹೌದು ಅವರಿದ್ದುದೇ ಹಾಗೆ. ಅವರೊಬ್ಬ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಪಾಂಡಿತ್ಯದ ಗಣಿ. ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸ. ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಭಂಡಾರ. ಅವರ ಅರಿವಿಗೆ ನಿಲುಕದ ವಿಷಯಗಳೇ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ, ಹಿಂದಿ, ಕನ್ನಡ, ತೆಲುಗು, ಮರಾಠಿ, ಗುಜರಾತಿ, ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್, ಬಂಗಾಳಿ….. ಹೀಗೆ ಹಲವು ಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಿಡಿತ. ಅಧ್ಯಯನದ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳು ಹತ್ತಾರು. ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಅಭ್ಯುದಯ ಅರ್ಥಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ, ಪತ್ರಿಕೋದ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ವಿವಿಧ ಶಿಸ್ತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ. ಈ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಅವರ ಓದು-ಬರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಣೆಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಆಳ-ಅಗಲ, ಅಧಿಕೃತತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಗ್ರತೆಗಳ ಹದ. ಅವರ ಕನ್ನಡ-ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಭಾಷಾ ಶೈಲಿ ಗಂಭೀರವಾದ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲ ನಿಲ್ಲುವಂತೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಹೇಳಬಹುದೆಂಬ ಕಲೆಗೆ ನಿದರ್ಶನ. ‘ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಈ ಬಾರಿಯ ಉತ್ಥಾನದ ಲೇಖನ ಬಹಳ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ತಿ ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಮಗೆ ಒಂದೆರಡು ಶಬ್ದಕೋಶಗಳೇ ಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ’ ಎಂದು ಆಪ್ತ ವಲಯದ ಮಿತ್ರರು ಕೆಲವು ಬಾರಿ ತಮಾಷೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದುಂಟು. ಅಷ್ಟೊಂದು ವಿದ್ವತ್‌ಪೂರ್ಣ ಲೇಖನಗಳು ಅವು. ಆಪ್ತಮಿತ್ರರ ಇಂತಹ ಟೀಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರದು ಮೌನ ಉತ್ತರ. ಆ ಮೌನದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಅಡಗಿರಬಹುದು? ‘ನನ್ನ ಲೇಖನದ ಹಲವು ಶಬ್ದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಿಮಗೆ ಶಬ್ದಕೋಶದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಣೆಬರಹ!’ ಎಂದು ಆ ಮೌನದ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗಿರಬಹುದೆ? ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.

ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಪಂಡಿತ ವಂಶವಾದ ಮೋಟಗಾನಹಳ್ಳಿಯವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದವರು. ಸೊಂಡೇಕೊಪ್ಪದ ಮೂಲದವರು. ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ವತ್ತು, ಪಾಂಡಿತ್ಯ, ಕಲಾಸಕ್ತಿ, ಸಾಹಸ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವೆಂಬಂತೆ ಸದ್ಗುಣಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಚತುಶ್ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಪಂಡಿತರು, ವೇದವರಿಷ್ಠರು, ಸೋಮಯಾಜಿಗಳು, ಪಂಡಿತ ಕವಿಗಳು, ಗೀತನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರವೀಣರು… ಹೀಗೆ ಹಲವರು ಅವರ ತಾಯಿ-ತಂದೆಯರ ವಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಿಹೋದರು. ಅವೇ ಸದ್ಗುಣಗಳು ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರಲ್ಲೂ ಹರಿದು ಬಂದಿರಬಹುದು. ಮೋಟಗಾನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಮಹದೇವಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳು, ಶಂಕರ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳು, ಗಂಗಾಧರ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳು, ನಾರಾಯಣ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳು, ಶ್ರೀಕಂಠ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳು ಇವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರ ಪೂರ್ವಜರು. ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಕೂಡಾ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಯಸ್ಸಿಗೇ ವೇದಾಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಿದವರು. ಶೃಂಗೇರಿಯ ಆಸ್ಥಾನ ಮಹಾ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರಾದ ಪಂಡಿತಪ್ರವರ ಮಾಗಡಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀನರಸಿಂಹ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವೇದಾಂತಾದಿ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ. ಬಳಿಕ ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಕನ್ನಡ-ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಪಂಡಿತರಾದ ಮಹಾಮಹೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯ ಎನ್.ರಂಗನಾಥ ಶರ್ಮರ ಬಳಿ ವ್ಯಾಕರಣ ಕಲಿಕೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ದೊಡ್ಡಪ್ಪ ಇತಿಹಾಸ-ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಜ್ಞರಾದ ಡಾ. ಎಸ್. ಶ್ರೀಕಂಠಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಅವರ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಜರ್ಮನ್, ಫ್ರೆಂಚ್, ಸ್ಪ್ಯಾನಿಷ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇಟಾಲಿಯನ್ ಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಪರಿಚಯ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದರು.

ಇವೆಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಡಿವಿಜಿಯವರ ಕಣ್ಣು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೈ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು! ಡಿವಿಜಿಯವರು ಉಕ್ತಲೇಖನ ರೂಪದಿಂದ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಬರೆದು, ಪ್ರತಿಮಾಡಿ, ಅಚ್ಚಿನ ಮನೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಂತಗಳ ಕರಡನ್ನು ತಿದ್ದಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಅಂತಿಮ ರೂಪವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ಇದೇ ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು. ಡಿವಿಜಿಯವರ ಪ್ರತಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಮುನ್ನುಡಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ತಪ್ಪದೇ ಇಣುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹೆಸರು ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರದು. ಆದರೆ ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಡಿವಿಜಿಯವರ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಬರಹಕ್ಕಿಳಿಸಿ ಅಚ್ಚಿನ ಮನೆಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ನೋಡುವ ಗುಮಾಸ್ತರೆಂದು ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಭಾವಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ತಪ್ಪು. ಅನೇಕ ಬಾರಿ ಡಿವಿಜಿಯವರು ಉಕ್ತಲೇಖನ ಆರಂಭಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಅವರ ಮನದಿಂಗಿತ ಅರಿತು ಅವರು ಹೇಳುವ ಮುನ್ನವೇ ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಬರೆದದ್ದೂ ಉಂಟು. ಇದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಡಿವಿಜಿ ಹುಸಿ ಮುನಿಸಿನಿಂದ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ರೇಗಿದ್ದೂ ಉಂಟು. ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರ ವಯಸ್ಸಾದರೂ ಎಷ್ಟು? ಅಬ್ಬಬ್ಬಾ ಎಂದರೆ ೨೦ರ ಹರೆಯ ಇರಬಹುದೇನೋ! ಸುಮಾರು ೨ ದಶಕಗಳಿಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಕಾಲ ಹೀಗೆ ಡಿವಿಜಿಯವರ ಆಪ್ತ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಂತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ ಘನ ಅನುಭವ ಅವರದು.

ಡಿವಿಜಿ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ವಿ.ಸೀ, ಮಾಸ್ತಿ, ರಾಳ್ಲಪಲ್ಲಿ, ವೀರಕೇಸರಿ ಸೀತಾರಾಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ, ದೇವುಡು ನರಸಿಂಹ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ, ರಾಜರತ್ನಂ, ಪಿ. ಕೋದಂಡರಾವ್, ಯಾದವರಾವ್ ಜೋಷಿ ಮುಂತಾದ ಪ್ರಾತಃಸ್ಮರಣೀಯರೊಂದಿಗೂ ನಿರಂತರ ಸಾಹಚರ್ಯ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಎನ್. ಚನ್ನಕೇಶವಯ್ಯ, ವೀಣಾ ರಾಜರಾವ್, ರತ್ನಗಿರಿ ಸುಬ್ಬಾಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ, ನಾರಾಯಣಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಭಾಗವತರ್, ಬಸವರಾಜ ರಾಜಗುರು, ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನ ಮನ್ಸೂರ್, ಪಂಡಿತ ಶೇಷಾದ್ರಿ ಗವಾಯಿ, ರಾಮರಾವ್ ನಾಯಕ್ ಮುಂತಾದ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯಾ ಸಂಗೀತ ದಿಗ್ಗಜಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯ. ಹೀಗೆ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಿಕ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಲೋಕದ ಮೇರು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಒಡನಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಳಿದ್ದು ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಎಂಬ ಅದ್ಭುತ, ಅಪ್ಪಟ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆ. ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲ ಅದಮ್ಯ ಧೀಮಂತಿಕೆಯಿದ್ದ ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಶಾಲಾ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀರಸವೆನಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಕಾಲೇಜು, ವಿ.ವಿ.ಗಳ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲು ತುಳಿದಿದ್ದು ವಿಶೇಷ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾಗಿ ಅಥವಾ ಇನ್ನಾವುದೋ ಗೌರವ ಡಾಕ್ಟರೇಟ್ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಸಮಾರಂಭಕ್ಕಾಗಿ. ಡಿಗ್ರಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಿಗೆ ಅವರೆಂದೂ ಕಾಲೇಜು, ವಿ.ವಿ.ಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಡತಾಕಿದವರಲ್ಲ.

೧೯೭೨ ರಿಂದ ೭೯ ರವರೆಗೆ ಸುಧಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಾರಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಉಪ ಸಂಪಾದಕರಾಗಿ ದುಡಿಮೆ. ನಂತರ ೧೯೭೯ ರಿಂದ ಇದುವರೆಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಉತ್ಥಾನ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾಸಿಕ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಂಪಾದಕರಾಗಿ ಅಹರ್ನಿಶಿ ಸೇವೆ. ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಅದು ಸೇವೆಯೇ! ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್‌ಗೆ ಅವರು ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟಾಗ ನನಗೆಷ್ಟು ವೇತನ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೀರಿ ಎಂದು ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನೇನು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು, ನನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸದ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯೇನು ಎಂದು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಿರಬಹುದು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡೇ ಅವರು ೫೦ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿದರು. ಗ್ರಂಥ ಸಂಪಾದನೆ, ಹಸ್ತಪ್ರತಿ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಣ, ವಿವಿಧ ಸೂಚಿಗಳ ತಯಾರಿ, ಅನೇಕ ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಪಾತ್ರ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಚಿಂತನೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯ ವೇದಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವಾವ್ರತಿಯಂತೆ ದುಡಿಮೆ. ಪರಿಸರ ಹೋರಾಟ, ಸ್ವದೇಶಿ ಆಂದೋಲನಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಅವರದು ಅಪಾರ ಯೋಗದಾನ. ‘ಮಹಾಭಾರತದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ’ ಎಂಬ ಕೃತಿಯಿಂದ ಆರಂಭವಾದ ಅವರ ಸಾರಸ್ವತ ಜೀವನ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾದ ‘ಕವಳಿಗೆ’ ಎಂಬ ಕೃತಿಯವರೆಗೆ ೪೦ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಿಕ್ಕಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸಿದೆ. ‘ಶತಮಾನದ ತಿರುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ’, ‘ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಯ ಎರಡು ಧ್ರುವ’, ‘ನಾಗರಿಕತೆಗಳ ಸಂಘರ್ಷ’, ‘ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಜ ಕಾರ್ಯ: ಹಿನ್ನಲೆ-ಮುನ್ನೋಟ’, ‘ಸ್ವದೇಶಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ’, ‘ಆರ್ಯರ ಆಕ್ರಮಣ: ಬುಡವಿಲ್ಲದ ವಾದ’… ಹೀಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಮೌಲಿಕ ಕೃತಿಗಳ ಅಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ದಾಖಲೆ. ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೌಲಿಕ ಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ರಚಿಸಿದ್ದರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಅನೇಕ ರಾಜಕೀಯ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಚಿಂತಕರಿಗೆ ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರ ಅನುಪಮ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಗೋಚರಿಸದಿರುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಬೌದ್ಧಿಕ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ದುರಂತ! ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಬಲಪಂಥೀಯರ ದೇಗುಲವಾದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್‌ನ ಪುರೋಹಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆಂಬ ಕಾರಣ ಇರಬಹುದೆ?

ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರ  ಸರಳತೆ, ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆ, ಹಮ್ಮುಬಿಮ್ಮುಗಳಿಲ್ಲದ ನೇರವಂತಿಕೆ, ವಿನೋದ ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರದಿಂದ ಗಮನಿಸಿದವರಿಗೆ ಇವರು ಅಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರೇ ಎಂಬ ಸಂಶಯ ಬರುವುದು ಸಹಜ. ಆದರೆ ಅವರೊಬ್ಬ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾರಸ್ವತ ಲೋಕದ ಉಜ್ವಲ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ಎಂಬುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಮಾನವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಅವರೊಬ್ಬ ಅಪ್ಪಟ ಸಂವೇದನಾಶೀಲರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಕಳಕಳಿಯ ಗುಣವಂತರು. ಅವರೊಡನೆ ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತು ಕಾಲ ಕಳೆದರೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಅದೇನೋ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸ, ಚೇತನ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಿ. ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ಗೌರವ ಡಾಕ್ಟರೇಟ್, ಈಗ ನಾಡೋಜ…. ಹೀಗೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಉನ್ನತ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅರಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿವೆ. ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಉನ್ನತ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳು ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಬರಬಹುದು, ಬರಲಿ. ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳ ರಾಶಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರೆಂದೂ ವಿಚಲಿತರಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಗೌರವ ಡಾಕ್ಟರೇಟ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅವರೆಂದೂ ಡಾ. ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಎಂದು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಗ ನಾಡೋಜ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರೂ, ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಾಡೋಜ ರಾಮಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಖಂಡಿತ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರರು. ಅಂತಹ ನಿರ್ಲಿಪ್ತ, ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿಪರಾಙ್ಮುಖ ಮಾನಸಿಕತೆ ಅವರದು. ಅಂತಹವರು ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾರಸ್ವತ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟು ಮಂದಿ ಇದ್ದಾರು!

Karnataka Government (through Karnataka police), has banned VHP Chief Dr Pravin Togadia  from entering Bengaluru, Udupi, Hasan, Chikkamagalur and Mysuru.  Dr Togadia was expected to adress mega rallies at all these places. VHP strongly condemned this move by state govt, alleging a political conspiracy.

Strange!

Today (on March 9) Karnataka police went to my old home (which I have left over 10 yrs ago!), then to VHP office & my hospital at Karnavati or also called Ahmedabad of Gujarat. (The Hospital*, which I had donated to a trust run by VHP very long time back while leaving everything to work for Hindus!). The police went to all these places ‘hunting’ for me just to serve a notice of banning me for the rally at Mysore!

This is absolutely horrible & it is hounding an individual personally with some personal vendetta! I am surprised & shocked with such a strange behaviour of an experienced Chief Minister like Shri Siddaramaiah! If he wanted to ban my entry (as he did in Bengaluru & Udupi!), he could always give the notice to / at VHP Karnataka office. Sending police all the way from Karnataka to Gujarat (and, Gujarat police accompanying them to all these places!)…all seems quite strange.

Well, such is Kaliyuga!

No wonder, I was harassed by Karnataka police on way from Hosur (Tamil Nadu) to Bengaluru Airport at 01.00 am at night despite Tamil Nadu police escorting me objecting to the Karnataka police strange behaviour then too!

It was the last visit by Dr Pravin Togadia to Karnataka on Feb 8, who returned to Karnavati (Ahmedabad ) after Police denied permission to attend Hindu Samajotsav in Bengaluru on same day. Karnataka govt banned Dr Togadia for his 5 major rallies in Bengaluru, Udupi, Hasan, Chikkamagaluru and Mysuru in Karnataka.

* Dr Pravin Togadia is one of the most reputed Surgical Oncologist,  (an expert doctor who cures rarest cases of Cancer) in India. Dr Togadia left his house, hospital, wealth and everything, dedicated himself for the service of Hindu Society. Dr Togadia received a bachelor’s degree (MBBS) in medicine followed by a Master’s Degree (MS) in surgical oncology. He practised as a surgeon for fourteen years, and established a small hospital, Dhanvantri Hospital, in Ahmedabad. He gave up practising medicine to become more involved in Hindu activism.

Mumbai March 10: The Bombay High Court Tuesday dismissed the petition of Congress Vice-President and MP Rahul Gandhi who sought quashing of a complaint against him in a case of alleged hate speech against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Rahul Gandhi  had earlier managed to get HC’s reprieve of not personally appearing in the defamation case filed by RSS member Rajesh Kunte. Justice M L Tahaliyani, however, refused to grant the exemption this time around saying it was prerogative of the Magistrate court.

“Make application for exemption before the Magistrate. It is not proper for me to say something at this stage,” said Justice Tahaliyani clarifying the relief was given during the pendency of the petition.

The court said the trial judge should not get influenced by any observations made by it.

The issue dates back in the period of Lok Sabha elections in March, 2014 when Rahul visited a village in Bhiwandi Taluka of Thane district located 20 kilometres north-east of Mumbai.

Kunte has alleged that Rahul in his speech in March, 2014, had said members of RSS had assassinated Mahatma Gandhi.

According to the petition filed by Rahul through his lawyers — senior counsel Rajinder Singh Cheema and advocate Tarannum Cheema — summons were issued by a Bhiwandi magistrate court on July 11, 2014 to face prosecution under Section 500 (defamation).

“RSS ke logon ne Gandhiji ko goli maari aur unke log Gandhiji ki baat karte hai. Sardar Patel, Sardar Patel Congress party ke neta the unhone RSS ke bare me saaf suthra likha hai, unke sangathan ke bare me bahut saaf suthra likha hai, says the petition, while giving a portion of the alleged hate speech as cited by Kunte in his complaint.

Rahul in his petition says he did mention the RSS in the course of his speech at one place though the RSS was not contesting the election as a political party. “A careful reading of the relevant part of his speech indicates that as per the petitioner, the assassination of Mahatama Gandhi was a result of destructive philosophy of the persons associated with the RSS. It was also clearly suggested that the assassins were associated or affiliated with the RSS. He never accused RSS as an institution of the crime,” the petition argues.

The petition claimed the RSS was providing “logistical support” to the BJP and yet officially did not participate in the elections at all. Alleging there was divisive politics being brought to the forefront during the elections, Rahul was required to forewarn the voters about the dangers of sectarian populist ideology, the petition says.

“It was not the object of the petitioner to attack the RSS as such,” while praying to the High Court for quashing and setting aside the complaint and the summons.
