Bengaluru February 03: “If attempts of bringing in Indian values in education, then a section of people will criticize it as Saffronisation of education. If it is Saffronisation of education, then there is nothing wrong in it ” said Governor of Karnataka, Hon Vajubbhai R Vala in Bengaluru on Tuesday morning.

He was delivering the inaugural address at a gathering of educationists  at the two-day national conference on ‘Value initiatives in institutions of Higher learning-key to Youth empowerment’ at Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru. Disha Charitable Trust, an RSS inspired NGO of Malleshwaramon Value based education co-organised the event along with Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women in Malleshwaram.

Governonr VR Vala added “The student today gets today has information from all corners, but from where the values he will imbibe? The need for value education to be a part of the modern-day education system which currently focuses only on bestowing literacy and knowledge of technology. People paint any attempt at moral education as saffronization, we inculcate the eternal values of universal love and brotherhood as enunciated in the concept of  ancient chantings like ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Krunvanto Vishwamaryam or Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.”

“Youth should focus more on character building than spending time-money on cosmetics and luxuries. Than spending money on such fashion items, better to purchase books to read about the life and teachings of inspiring leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhai Patel and Bhagat Singh who sacrificed their lives in the service of the nation” said Governor VR Vala.

“Today we all has to understand and practice the sentence Satyam Vada-Dharmam Chara, meaning speak truth and do works honestly and ethically. Simple living and high thinking is the need of the hour. Gandhiji lead a simple life and his his thoughts were of high and wider standards. Education should provide such a value for each person, which also makes a person socially active” added VR Vala.

Hon. Governor also released a compendium on the conference theme.

Prof. N. V. Raghuram, President of DISHA, delivered the presidential address. He pointed out that the entire world is looking towards India for moral and spiritual guidance and underscored the role of organizations like DISHA in this endeavor.

The keynote address was delivered by Swami Atmapriyanandaji Maharaj, the Vice Chancellor of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University, Kolkata. Quoting examples and verses from the scriptures, Swamiji drew attention to the fact that self-enquiry and a scientific spirit have always been the edifice of all ancient wisdom. He underscored the need for education to be directed towards understanding the purpose of human life.

Addressing the need of reforms in education at the national conference, Vidya Bharati’s National Vice President and RSS Kshetreeya Karyavah Dushi Ramakrishna Rao said “Values the one which are always are caught but not taught. The student community should be producers of the thought, not just consumers. Our approach of education system should be learner-centric. The youth today are not useless but are used less”

“Research integrated curriculum is much need today. Each institute should dedicate 20% of its curriculum for research activities. Internship programmes should be mandatory. Technology is a boon for the mankind today. We gained so many things. But technology is never a substitute for values. 50% of theoretical teachings can be  taught within class and the rest can be learnt by practice. Under sky teaching methods helps much to add values on education”, added Rao.

‘Yoga can be a good tool to promote values in learning. At any level of learning the Yoga can be taught, at all institutes which promotes the skills of learning. For mental and intellectual learning, spiritual teachings should be made compulsory. The teachers should be trained well before he teaches, otherwise  the students should forced to compromised their thouhts” said Ramakrishna Rao.

Bengaluru February 04: “The hope of the nation is on the present youth population. Minds of the youth should be ignited with values. The values are demonstrated but not taught’ said Justice MN Venkatachalaiah in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

Justice MN Venkatachalaih was delivering the valedictory address at a gathering of professors, educationists and students at the two-day national conference on ‘Value initiatives in institutions of Higher learning-key to Youth empowerment’ at JN TATA Auditorium, IISc Campus at Malleshwaram, Bengaluru. The national conference was organised jointly by Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women and Disha Trust, an NGO of Malleshwaram.

” Indian universities and other leading academic institutes should raise their standards when compared to the excellence in the west, especially in Science. In the Western institutes the-research is moving from universities to industries. The Society must move with values on humanism. The society should move gently and fast, the system should address issues of human survival. ” said Justice MN Venkatachalaiah

Management Guru, Prof Mruthyunjaya Atreya addressed and stressed the need of Values in todays youth era. Prof Athreya said “there are 5 key values which youth should imbibe and perform,. They are  Patriotism, Humanity, Contribution for the world, Dharma and self realization. .”

“Dharma is single most needed value today, righteous conduct to uphold all, which covers a vast area like Rashtradharma, Samajadharma. In order to maintain water balance there will be seasonal changes, its the Dharma of the environment. Dharma protects us if preserved. National interest should be above party interest, Rashtradharma ahead of Rajadharma” said MB Athreya.

“Patriotism is a key value needed for all youth which specifies devotion to motherland, discharging debt to the nation, deep knowledge of the country, preserve the heritage and sharing the world. We should be aware of the Danger of monoculture. Citizens should be aware of maximum diversity of culture and heritage of the nation and try to preserve it. Humanism, a value which specifies integrated with global human family, compassion for the weak, correction in the wicked, reduction of inequality for peace, are most needed for mankind” added Athreya.

Stressing the need of the value of Contribution, Athreya said “contribution according to ones strength not interests. Taking interest where contributions is needed., enabling other contributions.developing competences for owning contributions. If every member in a team contributes at their best, then collective contributions will lead to victory”

Bengaluru February 04: Bengaluru Police issued an order banning the entry of Dr Pravin Togadia to City Limits of Bengaluru from February 05 to 10, 2015.  Dr Pravin Togadia was expected to participate and address mega Hindu Samajotsav organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Febraury 08, 2015 at National Highschool Grounds, Bsavaanagudi, Benfaluru.

Police claim that such a step of banning Dr Togadia’s entry t Bengaluru was taken to maintain public peace and harmony.

Here is an analysis by Dr Pravin Togadia, VHP Working President. (February 04, 2015)

1. Order by Bengaluru (Karnataka) Commissioner of Police is based on hearsay lop-sided unverified media reports, concocted internet posts & on the so called politically motivated cases as old as from 2003 of which most have been already thrown out by many hon. Courts as non-cases. Therefore, the said order prohibiting entry of Dr Pravin Togadia, a renowned Cancer Surgeon, National President of India Health Line & the International Working President of VHP, in Bengaluru from February 5, 2015 to February 12, 2015 is based on imaginary presumptions, thereby violating Dr Togadia’s fundamental rights.
2. In the city off late already infested with horrendous crimes against women & girls – with as little as 3 yrs old girls are getting every now & then molested / raped in their schools, where the young techie roamed & stayed freely while being long term involved in garnering active support to internationally condemned terror outfit ISIS & the city from where young way-wards run away to places like Iraq & Turkey to join the same terror outfit ISIS to fight a batter for a particular religion again the entire world, rather than focusing on making the city safer for its residents, the respected Commissioner of Police is targeting a renowned Cancer Surgeon trying to spread the message through India Health Line for ‘Healthy Nation, Happy Nation’/ trying to introduce mobile app to make blood available for the needy patients in emergency (refer: The Economic Times, May 2, 2014), trying to make people at large aware by spreading the message in over 100 rallies across India past 2 months regarding Cohesive Unity (Samarasta) among all Indians & focusing on eradicating untouchability.

3. In the past 2 months to celebrate 50 yrs of VHP, there have been organized over 100 rallies all over India from Coorg to Kanyakumari, from Hyderabad to Mumbai, from Ahmedabad to Lucknow & from Aurangabad to Bharuch cutting across all states, regions & towns. Dr Pravin Togadia has been traveling all these places by road & by many other means, meeting various people from many walks of life, addressing rallies as well as small groups of professionals like CAs, Lawyers, Doctors, Industrialists, Students & so on. In the same way many others from VHP along with the RSS have also been doing the same. It should be the aim for all of us Indians to make our nation United, Safe, Healthy, Prosperous & so on. With this message [refer to the presentation made by Dr Togadia in the Indian Medical Association’s Gwalior chapter conclave of medical professions where the topic of the presentation & discussion was ‘Importance of Early Detection of Deadly Diseases like Hypertension, Heart Problems, Anaemia & Obesity’ (The presentation is available in the video format along with the discussion in the meeting], many focused messages are being given to the public at large to take the nation ahead.

4. Rather than making any effort to know from the concerned people / organization / or from Dr Togadia himself as to what would be topics of speeches in the Rally in Bengaluru on February 8, 2015 where prominent scientists, social thinkers etc too will be on the dais, the respected Commissioner of Police – Bengaluru, through his subordinates, unilaterally thrust the entry prohibition order in the hands of Dr Togadia at the Bengaluru airport when Dr Togadia late at night, tired from the day’s long travel through Kanyakumari & surroundings, meeting people whole day, was at the Bengaluru airport waiting for some food!

5. The respected Commissioner of police did not even take trouble to know the facts from Dr Togadia who was being dictatorially ordered to stay off Bengaluru from February 5, 2015 to February 12, 2015! This hurried, late night unilateral action itself shows the political motive behind the entire order using false information based on unverified lop-sided media reports & discarded cases – discarded by many Hon. Courts in Karnataka itself & in many other states & also FIRs thrown out as malicious & baseless by the Police depts. From many states including most as mentioned by the respected Commissioner of Police n the said prohibition order. The order states ’19 FIRs on Togadia till August 2014’, but the Commissioner of Police did not even bother to check as whatever has happened in those FIRs since 2001, whether the concerned police authorities had found any substance in the complaints or whether the various Hon. courts even accepted the charge sheets or thrown the cases out after realizing the humbug allegations. It is like holding one person responsible for every ill that happens in the world based on false & unverified reports. Before shoving such unilateral order in the hands of Dr Togadia late at night, the respected Commissioner of Police has not even written to all the states police departments which the order mentions. (E.g. The order mentions Bhavnagar, Bhopal. Where is the written communication from the Commissioner of Police – Bengaluru to the respective police stations / state heads of police enquiring about the status of the so called FIRs or the authenticity of the media / internet reports re FIRs?)
6. On the other side, the respected Commissioner of Police did not even make a simple observation that there had been many hurtful incidents against the Scheduled Castes, women, Tribals & other communities where Dr Pravin Togadia has not done any rally so far. (e.g. In Maharashtra, a scheduled caste family was burnt alive where Dr Togadia did not do any rally; in Bengaluru, many youths went following ISIS – they were not guided by Dr Pravin Togadia through any rally there; in Bengaluru itself many little minor girls were molested / raped in their big schools – where Dr Togadia had not done any rally! In Delhi, where churches were burnt last weeks, Dr Togadia has not had any rally off late!) Holding one educated person, a Cancer Surgeon responsible for sundry incidents as if he is a hardened criminal, just because he happens to be one of the office bearers of VHP & banning his entry in the educated city like Bengaluru for over a week is like holding a sporadic crowing crow for the deafness of tall the world! It is the most autocratic, obnoxious, dictatorial & paranoid action obviously taken at the instance of the officer’s political masters. Bengaluru is the city, where Dr Pravin Togadia has visited at least over 50 times past 5 yrs, held many meetings with CAs, Doctors, Lawyers, Students, Professors, families of wealthy as well as poor people etc. No communal or whatsoever tension rose then! All these times, the same Commissioner of Police did not issue such offending prohibition order. Had Dr Togadia wanted to spread malice, he did not need a rally for it; in the national media, his own social media & small meeting that he had held so far in Bengaluru, he could have done so. But as a matter of fact, he has been all the time focusing on spreading Samarasta (Cohesive Unity), Health, Safety, Prosperity & Dignity through his meetings there.

7. It was expected as a basic work from a person holding such a high post like the Commissioner of Police of Bengaluru, to at least not rely upon lop-sided paid media reports, discarded / thrown out (by the Hon Courts!) outdated old cases & political motives for banning entry of a renowned Cancer Surgeon to the city of Bengaluru for a week! This only shows his sick phobia & political motive that made him violate even the basic fundamental right of Dr Pravin Togadia given by the Constitution of India. In any case, had there been any truly & legally objectionable speech in Bengaluru on February 8, 2015 by Dr Togadia, in the rally, as the respected Commissioner of Police so fears, then the officer was always free to take necessary action then rather than being so drastic & dictatorial by preventing Dr Togadia’s entry itself in the city for a week based on imaginary paranoia or based on the orders by his political masters in the state.

Research into ways to save the tribal languages

Mysuru February 05: Cabinet minister for Tribal affairs, Shri. Jual Oram informed that research is being conducted to safeguard the tribal languages that do not have a script of their own and are on the verge of extinction. He also said that research is going on towards building a library for the tribal languages.

Jual Orum was speaking at the valedictory function of the 5^th International Conference and Gathering of Elders organized by International Centre for Cultural Studies (ICCS) at the Ganapathi Sachidananda Ashrama in Mysuru on Wednesday, Febraury 4th.

Shri. Jual Oram said that while the national literacy average was 72.5%, the literacy rate of the tribal people stood at 61.1%. To bridge this gap, the government is giving impetus to their education and has instituted several schools, hostels and several other facilities. Each states of our country like Karnataka, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Tripura, etc. have their own unique cultures, traditions and arts. 598 tribes and 432 languages have been identified in the country. There is vast amount of Tribal literature. Keeping in mind the natureof the geography of the Lakshadweep Islands, several Muslim and Christian communities too have been categorized as tribes. 21 outlets have been opened to sell the products made by the tribal folks. The turnover of this trade has increased from Rs.10 Lakhs to Rs.18 crores he said.

Just before the event, the minister captured everyone’s attention when he joined in the dance being performed by the artists from Nepal in a procession.

100 Crores for the development of Tribal people

Shri. Jual Oram has said that Rs.100 Crore has been allocated for the program designed for the overall development of tribal people. Speaking to the media at Ganapathi Sachidananda Ashram in Mysuru, he said that this program has been initiated in 10 states including Karnataka and 10 blocks have been identified in each state, where each block has been allotted a sum of Rs.10 crore each. This fund will be used to safeguard the culture of the tribal people and importance will also be given for their education, health and other facilities.

Patta Land: The minister said that Patta lands will be provisionedbeforehand to those tribal people who have been living on the periphery of the forests and are being relocated elsewhere. The state governments have been instructed by the centre to provide other basic facilities, he said. After the Forests Rights Act came into force, Tribal people have been relocated in several states and alternate lands have been given to them. Many have been given such lands even in Karnataka. He said, that a meeting will be called soon to know the exact situation in the state.

Promotion of Archery: Tribal youth have to be brought into Sports. Archery is prevalent among them. Hence, in the coming days, archery will be promoted and will be supported accordingly, he said.

I have plans what could assuage the difficulties of the poor. However, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah did not allow for this message to be conveyed. He also said that the VHP will celebrate its Golden Jubilee in a grand manner only after the construction of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya starts.

“15 centuries ago Muslims like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Imam Bhukhari, etc., were not born. 2000 thousand years ago, there were no Christians. The people who inhabited countries like Iran, Iraq, Syria, Europe and England were Hindus themselves”, Togadia said.

Opposition to Conversions

Togadia Ji said that VHP is completely opposed to conversions. If there were no conversions for the last 2000 years, countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh and others would not even have formed. Babur would not been born. There should have been 700 crore Hindus in the world if conversions did not happen. But due to rampant conversions, the Hindu population that should have been 700 crore, is today reduced to 100 crores.

In 2003, Hindus formed 93% of the population in Kanyakumari district. But today they have been reduced to 48%. Similarly, the population of Hindus in the country has reduced from 86% to 78%. Further, it is estimated that in the next three years the population of Hindus will reduce by another 38%, he said.

Hindus cannot live in Mecca, Medina, Pakistan or Afghanistan. This is because the Hindus and their properties are not safe there. Also, 5 crore Hindu youth in our country are suffering due to unemployment, he said.

Vow to protect Hindus

Togadia Ji said that 4 lakh farmers have committed suicide in the last 4 years. “Time has arrived to take a vow to protect the 100 crore Hindus. VHP is persistently striving for the security, economical upliftment, self-esteem and protection of Hindus”, he said.

Parties like AIADMK, DMK and Congress have no concern for the security of Hindus. Let us strive to make Bharat a Hindu Rashtra, he said. He urged the government to implement the Uniform Civil Code. Togadia Ji accused that while reservations are being provided to Muslims in Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, even the poor Hindu students are not being supported financially.

ಸಹೋದರ-ಸಹೋದರಿಯರೇ, ಇಂದು ನಾವಿಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿರುವುದು ವಿಶ್ವ ಹಿಂದೂ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿಗೆ 50ವರ್ಷಗಳು ತುಂಬಿರುವುದನ್ನುಸ್ಮರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು. ಆದರೆ ಬರೀ  ಆ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಾಚರಣೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮೀಸಲುಗೊಳಿಸಲು ನಾವಿಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಲ್ಲ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಮೂರು ಮುಖ್ಯಸಂಕಲ್ಪಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನುಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸೇರಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಗತವೈಭವಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ಯಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ಒಂದೂವರೆ-ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಹೇಗಿತ್ತು ಗೊತ್ತೇ? ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ, ಸಂಪತ್ತು, ಪ್ರಗತಿ, ಜ್ಞಾನ, ವೈಭವ, ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲ ಮೇಳೈಸಿದ್ದಿದ್ದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿಂದೂರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ. ಆದರೆ ಇಂದುಯಾರನ್ನೇ ಕೇಳಿ ನೋಡಿ, ಯಾವ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆಎಂದು -ಎಲ್ಲರ ಉತ್ತರವೂ ಒಂದೇ. ಅಮೆರಿಕಾ!  ಹೌದು. ಹಿಂದೂ ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಕರಗಿ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ‘ಬಿಂದು’ ವಿನಷ್ಟಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಾನಂತರವಂತೂ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಶೇಕಡ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಲೇ ಬಂದು ಈಗ 80ಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಂತಿದೆ.

ಇದು ಇನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಿ 40ರ ಹೊಸ್ತಿಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದುಬಿಡುವುದೋ ಎಂಬ ಆತಂಕವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ನನಗೆ. ಒಂದು ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗರ್ಭ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತವಾಗಿದ್ದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಹಸಿವಿನಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಲೆಕ್ಕವೇಇಲ್ಲ.  40ಕೋಟಿ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ತಿಂಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಒಂದೇ ಒಂದು ಸಾವಿರರೂಪಾಯಿ! ಐದು ಕೋಟಿ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳು! ಕಳೆದ ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಲಕ್ಷ ರೈತರು ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಸಮೃದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದ ದೇಶ ಈ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೇಕೆಬಂತು?

ಏಕೆ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ ಆ ವೈಭವ? ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾವು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ! ನಮಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯೇ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಉಳಿಯಬೇಕು ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ? ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳದ್ದೂ ಅದೇ ಹಣೆಬರಹವೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ? ಯುಗಯುಗಗಳಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಿತ್ತು. ನಮ್ಮಮನೆ-ಮಠ, ಸಂಪತ್ತು, ಧರ್ಮ ಹಾಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮೊದಲೆಲ್ಲ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗೇ ಇದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದೀಚೆಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿದೆ ನಮಗೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ?ಇಂದು ವಿಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದೂ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ? ಎಲ್ಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಕಡೇ ಪಕ್ಷ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ? ಉಹೂಂ. ಇಲ್ಲೂ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತನಲ್ಲ. ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದಿಂದ ಬಂಗಾಳದವರೆಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲೂ ಹಿಂದೂ  ಅತಂತ್ರನೇ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ  ಈ ಮೂರು ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಗಳು.
ಹಿಂದೂವಿನರಕ್ಷಣೆ :100 ಕೋಟಿ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಸಂಪತ್ತು, ಹೊಲ, ಮನೆ-ಮಠ, ಧರ್ಮ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಿದ್ದರೆ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿತಾನೇತಾನಾಗಿ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆತ್ಮಸಮ್ಮಾನ: ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಿದ್ದರೆ ನಮ್ಮಆತ್ಮ ಸಮ್ಮಾನವೂ ಉಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.
ಹಾಗಾದರೆ, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?
1. ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಕೂಡದು, ಬದಲಿಗೆ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು.
2. ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಸಾಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿಗಳು ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
3. ಎಲ್ಲ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳೂ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ಆಚರಣೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳಾಗಬೇಕು!
4. ಪ್ರತಿ ಹಿಂದೂವೂ ಜಾಗೃತನಾಗಬೇಕು. ತನ್ನ ಧರ್ಮದ ಹಾಗೂ ತನ್ನ ಏಳ್ಗೆಗಾಗಿ ಕಟಿಬದ್ಧನಾಗಬೇಕು.
5. ಹಿಂದೂಗಳೆಲ್ಲ ಸಕ್ರಿಯರಾಗಬೇಕು.
6. ಬಹಳ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜಾತಿಭೇದ ತೊಲಗಬೇಕು. ಅಸ್ಪೃಶ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಬದಿಗೊತ್ತಿ, ಯಾವ ಜಾತಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದರೂ ಸರಿ, ಮೊದಲು ನಾವೆಲ್ಲ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಮನಗಂಡು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
• ನಮಗೆಮತಾಂತರಬೇಡ, ನಮ್ಮಧರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳುವುದುಬೇಕು.
• ಲವ್ ಜಿಹಾದ್ ಬೇಡ, ಸಮಾನ ನಾಗರಿಕೆ ಸಂಹಿತೆಬೇಕು,
• ಬಾಂಗ್ಲಾದೇಶದಿಂದ ವಲಸೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮುಸಲ್ಮಾನರು ಬೇಡ, ಹಿಂದೂ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗುವುದು ಬೇಕು.
ನೆನಪಿಡಿ, ನಮಗೆ ಯಾರೂ ಸಹನೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಕಲಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಅದಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಇಂದು ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಕೀಯರು ಬಂದು ವಾಸಿಸಲು ಆಗುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ನಾವು ಮತಾಂತರ ಮಾಡಿದ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳಿದ್ದರೆ ತೋರಿಸಿ ನೋಡೋಣ! ಹಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾವೇಕೆ ಮತಾಂತರವಾಗಬೇಕು? ದೇಶದೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದು ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ 3ಕೋಟಿ ಬಾಂಗ್ಲಾದೇಶಿಗರನ್ನು ವಾಪಸ್ಕಳಿಸಬಾರದೇಕೆ?

ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಪಕ್ಕದ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗುವವನು ಬರೀ ತನ್ನ ದೇಶದ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಡಳಿತ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಯಾಗುವವರು ಹಿಂದೂಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೇಕೆ? ಎಲ್ಲಸೌಲಭ್ಯ, ಭಾಗ್ಯಗಳೂ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರಪಾಲಾಗುವುದೇಕೆ? ಏನುಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆನಮ್ಮಹಿಂದುಗಳು? ಹೀಗೇ ಮುಂದುವರೆದರೆ ನಾವು ಪೂರ್ಣ ನಿರ್ನಾಮವಾಗಿ ಬಿಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಲು ಬಿಡಕೂಡದು. ನಮ್ಮ ಆಚರಣೆಯಿಂದ ನಾವು ಹಿಂದೂಗಳಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದು ನಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ನಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನುಆಚರಿಸುವುದುಹೇಗೆ? ವಿಧಾನಗಳಿವೆಇಲ್ಲಿವೆ.
• ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ಭೂತಾಯಿಗೆ ನಮಿಸಬೇಕು, ಕುಲದೇವತೆಗೆ ನಮಿಸಬೇಕು, ತಂದೆ-ತಾಯಿಯರಿಗೆ ನಮಿಸಬೇಕು
• ತುಳಸಿ ಗಿಡಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರುಣಿಸಬೇಕು
• ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾಳು-ನೀರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಬೇಕು
• ದಿನವೂ ಭಗವಂತನಿಗೆ ಪೂಜೆ, ದಿನವೂದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆಒಂದರಿಂದ ಹತ್ತುರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನಿಡುವುದು, ಬಳಿಕ ಅದನ್ನು ಧರ್ಮಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿನಿಯೋಗಿಸಬೇಕು.
• ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂರುವ ಮುಂಚೆ ಹಸಿದಿರುವ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಒಂದು ಹಿಡಿ ಧಾನ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದಿಡುವುದು.
• ಊಟ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಮೊದಲತುತ್ತುಹಸುವಿಗೆ ಹಾಕುವುದು
• ದಿನವೂ ದೇಗುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸೂರ್ಯಾಸ್ತವಾಗುವಾಗ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಪಹಚ್ಚುವುದು.
• ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲದರ ಜೊತೆ ಅಸ್ಪೃಶ್ಯತೆಯಂಥ ಪೀಡೆಯನ್ನುಪಕ್ಕಕ್ಕಿಟ್ಟು ಎಲ್ಲಜಾತಿಯವರನ್ನೂ ಒಂದೇ ಎಂದು ಕಾಣುವುದು.
ಓರ್ವಜಾಗೃತ ಹಿಂದೂವಾಗಿ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇ ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಖಚಿತವಲ್ಲವೇ? ಜಾಗೃತನಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ, ಸಕ್ರಿಯನಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು-ನನ್ನಸಂಸಾರಎಂದುಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದುಬಿಡುವುದಲ್ಲ. ಬಡ, ದೀನ, ರೋಗಪೀಡಿತಅಥವಾನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗಿಯಾದಎಲ್ಲಹಿಂದೂಗಳಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂಕಾಳಜಿ,ಪ್ರೀತಿಹೊಂದಿರುವುದು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೈಲಾದ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವುದು. ಹಿಂದೂವಿಗೆಎಲ್ಲಿಯಾದರೂ ಅಪಮಾನವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆಯೆಂದರೆ, ಜಟಾಯುವಿನಂತೆ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಹೋರಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದರೂ ಸೈ, ಅವನ ನೆರವಿಗೆನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು. ಒಬ್ಬನ ಅಪಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವಾಗ ನೂರು ಕೋಟಿ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ ಆಗಲೇ ಹಿಂದೂಧರ್ಮ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಅಲ್ಲವೇ?
ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡೆಯಲೂ ಹಲವು ದಾರಿಗಳಿವೆ. ಮೊದಲನೆಯದು ಯಾವ ಹಿಂದೂ ವೂಹಸಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರಬಾರದು. ಯಾವ ಹಿಂದೂವೂ ಅನಕ್ಷರಸ್ಥನಾಗಿರಬಾರದು. ಯಾವಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೂವೈದ್ಯರಿಲ್ಲದೆಇರಬಾರದು. ಯಾರೂ ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗಿಯಾಗಿರಬಾರದು. ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ವಹಿವಾಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮದಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶೇಕಡ 35ನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಗಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾವು ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುಒತ್ತುನೀಡಬೇಕು. ನಮ್ಮಧರ್ಮದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಯನ್ನುಎತ್ತಿಹಿಡಿಯಬೇಕು.
ಹಿಂದೂ ಪರಿವಾರ, ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ, ವಿದ್ಯೆ, ಹೀಗೆಎಲ್ಲದರಲ್ಲೂ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿರಬೇಕು. ವಿಶ್ವ ಹಿಂದೂ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಈ ಸ್ವರ್ಣಜಯಂತಿಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲ ಕಳೆದುಹೋಗಿರುವ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಗೌರವ, ಸುರಕ್ಷೆ, ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಗಳನ್ನುಮತ್ತೆ ಗಳಿಸೋಣ.

ಒಬ್ಬ ಹಿಂದೂ ಇದನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ನೂರು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಸಿದರೆ ಸಾಕು, ನೂರು ಕೋಟಿ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಆಚರಣೆಗಿಳಿದರೆ ಯಾವುದು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ? ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ-ಸಹೋದರಿಯರೇ, ನನಗೆನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಅಚಲ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿದೆ. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಾಗಿರುತ್ತೇವೆ, ಜಾಗೃತರಾಗಿರುತ್ತೇವೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಕ್ರಿಯರಾಗಿರುತ್ತೇವೆ. ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಹಿಮ್ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಸಲು, ತುಳಿಯಲು ಬಂದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನೇ ಹಿಮ್ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ನಾನು ಹಿಂದೂ ಎಂದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾದ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನುಮರಳಿಪಡೆಯುತ್ತೇವೆ.

VHP Reiterates its commitment to Hindu Well-being Bengaluru Hindu Samajotsava Celebrated.

Bengaluru, February 8, 2015: On the occasion of the large Hindu Samajotsava in Bengaluru organized to celebrate VHP’s Golden Jubilee, Dr Pravin Togadia, International Working President of VHP reiterated VHP’s commitment to total Hindu Well-being through Hindu Samarasta (Cohesive Unity), Samruddhi (Prosperity), Suraksha (Safety), Swashya (Health), Shiksha (Education) & Sammaan (Dignity) as a basis of its Golden Vision 2020.

By a dictatorial fascist order, the Karnataka Govt banned the entry of Dr Pravin Togadia into Bengaluru City. He, however, conveyed VHP’s commitment to Hindu Well-being. According to him, VHP will focus on eradicating untouchability from all aspects of life in Bharat. Specific programmes for this will be: ‘Hindu Family Friend’ campaign in which every Hindu will make another Hindu family from SC / ST a friend. These 2 families will celebrate all occasions together, share meals together & stand by each other in thick & thin. VHP also resolves to inculcate among public the need for ONE water well, ONE & the same Crematorium for all & entry of all in the temples in all villages / towns etc.

For Hindu Prosperity, Dr Togadia explained VHP’s concept & programmes. These are: Every Hindu should get food. For this, every Hindu should daily take out at least 1 fistful of food-grains (Ek Mutthi Anaj) which the family will donate to the poor so NO Hindu will stay hungry ever. Prosperity does not come without Education. Every Hindu will take out Rs 1 to Rs 100 daily to help poor kids get proper education. Wealthy families will ‘adopt’ the education costs of at least 1 to 10 poor / Tribal kid’s education. For Employment / Self Reliance, every Hindu trader / Businessman will pledge that he will employ at least 1 to 10 Hindus in his Trade / Industry so that every Hindu youth will have work. Businessmen / Traders have assured VHP that they would train youth in small trades & support businesses so that they will be self-reliant. In Health for all, the programme is that every Doctor will examine / advise at least one poor patient FREE daily. Over 20,000 Specialist Doctors have already been associated with the programme so that no Hindu will lose life because of lack of medical treatment / medicines / blood. For Blood in emergencies, a mobile App ‘Blood4India’ has already been launched where donors & patients can register.

Hindu Safety has been a matter for concern in the changing times. VHP has time & again run various awareness campaigns all Bharat re Terror threats, how to inform the local authorities & police if they feel something suspicious. VHP’s women’s wing has been running special camps to train girls & women in self-defense.

VHP feels that if all these aspects are taken care of then Hindu Dignity will not only be sustained but the nation also will progress & prosper to be the world leader in trade, agriculture, education, technology & science. VHP’s continued commitment for other issues related to Hindu Dignity, such as abrogation of article 370, grand Ram temple at Ayodhya, national law banning cow slaughter & Uniform Civil Code too were reiterated as the continued commitment.  He thanked RSS Sarkaryavah ji Ma. Shri Bhaiyyaji Joshi for his inspired guidance at the Hindu Samajotsava & in the continued programmes.

Bengaluru February 08: Virat Hindu Samajyotsava organized on the occasion of 50th anniversary of the founding of VHP was held today at the national college grounds in Bengaluru. An august assemblage of swamis and sants graced the occasion. Pejawar Matha head Shri Viveshwara Teerta swamiji, Beli Matha’s Shri Shivananda Swamiji, Madara Channayya Swamiji and many other swamijis of prominent mathas were on the dais. Nearly 1 lakh people from all sections of the society attended the Samajyotsava.

The event started with the distinguished sants and swamijs offering floral tribute to the photo of Bharat Mata. As the event began, many dharmic slogans rent the air that charged the atmosphere. Vedic chants invoking bhagawan Ganesha for removing obstacles and other mantras were rendered by a group of Vedic scholars as soon as the dignitaries graced their seats. The VHP anthem was sung next.

VHP Dakshin Prant Karyadarshi (secretary) TAP Shenoy welcomed and introduced the dignitaries on the dais. All the sants and swamijis on the dais were welcomed as per Hindu tradition by garlanding them and offering a bouquet of fruits. Shri MP Puranik, President of VHP Dakshin Prant gave a brief introduction about VHP and appraised the audience on the various social service activities conducted by VHP in the recent past. He also spoke about the concerns of the lower sections of the society and the measures VHP and sangh parivar is taking too address them.

Dharmashtala Darmadhikari Shri Veerendra Hedge delivered the inaugural speech. He reminisced about the glorious past of this nation and the difficulties it faced. He said that due to our divided society, or enemies took advantage and ruled over us. But the numerous social service activities of VHP that brought various sections of the society has united the Hindu society. In its fifty years, the VHP has helped remove numerous social ills of our society. Even the Dharmashtala temple trust head taken up numerous projects to uplift the poor by providing them vocational training in many fields too help them earn and stand on their own feet. VHP aims to ameliorate the rural masses and remove the inherent differences. I wish them all the best in all their endeavors and help the Hindu society thrive.

Smt. Ramaratna, president of VHP Women wing “matru shakti”, briefed the gathering about the activities of the VHP women’s wing. She said that matru Shakti is a potent force in countering the threats facing the Hindu society, be it conversions, love jihad, untouchability and others. Educating the girls about the threats we face, how to conduct self, training in self defence and making them ready to lead the family and society with equal aplomb are the other activities of VHP Women’s Wing she said.

Message from Sri Sri Shivaratreeswara Mahaswamiji was read out on the occasion as he was unable to join in person.

A unique exercise of chanting several prominent ‘Basaveshwara Vachana’s together was held on the occasion. Smt. Asha Jagadish and troupe led the chanting of the vachanas.

Beli Mathas Shivarudra Swamiji addressed the gathering next. He highlighted the noble work done by VHP in uniting the Hindu society in the last 50 years. He also said that the work done by VHP in removing the social ills has been exemplary. While we found a new identity after achieving independence, there were many challenges that faced the Hindu society. There were many forces that acted against the interests of the nation and Hindu society. Be it conversions, like the one that occurred in Meenakshipuram or terror attacks, they are happening in our country. Vishweswhara Teerhta Swamiji called for uniting the Hindu society and many accepted his call and everyone worked towards it. However, there are ills like untouchability that plague our society. We had also passed a resolution against untouchability, yet we are even today discussing about it as it is still in practice. Our resolutions should not remain mere slogans but should be implemented to bring about change in our society. If each of us are awake of these ills and threats to our society, we will be able to address the challenges facing us.

Today, we are taking away the opportunity from our kids to learn in their own mother tongue. We are also unable to impart value based education to our kids. Even the glory of our past cannot be taught to them. Whenever such syllabus is introduced in schools, it is deemed as saffronization and not allowed to continue. VHP’s work of addressing these lacunas is exemplary.

Some say that there is confusion as who is a Hindu. There need not be any confusion as it has already been known that anyone residing within this land of Bharat is a Hindu. Our Guruji (former RSS Sarsanghachalak) has made this clear in his ‘Chintana Ganga’. Let us work together to address the challenges facing our society along with VHP. On this momentous occasion of the 50th anniversary of VHP, I wish them all the best in all their future projects.

RSS Sarkaryavaha Shri Suresh Bhayyaji Joshi delivered his presidential address next. Following is the extract of this address.

“I offer my humble pranams to the sants and swamijis and the Hindu force present here. It is indeed a boon to be born in this land as a Hindu. This is a sacred land. This land has seen many ups and downs and has witnessed many attacks and . But the Hindu society has only thrived and not buckled. It is the task of each and every one of us to see that this tradition continues. This is the only land for the Hindus. No Hindu without Bharat and No Bharat without Hindus .

There are many ills within the Hindu society. We need to end these ills together and worked towards a harmonious Hindu society. Ills like untouchability have to be ended as it only weakens our society. Along with the feeling of caste, regionalism is a threat to our nation. The feeling that I belong to this region or that region, I am of this caste or that caste will only weaken us from within.

Hindus never invade any other country. The notion of ‘vasudaiva kutumbakam’, that this whole world is one, is the message of our sacred texts.While the famous adage said, ‘Bahujana hitaya, bahujana sukhaya’ (good for many, happiness of many), we said ‘sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya’ (good for all, happiness of all) is what a Hindu wants for the society.

Swami Vivekananda said that if ‘dharma’ sustains in Bharat, ‘dharma’ will remain in the world. This is the responsibility of Hindus to convey hope for this world. Let us work towards a harmonious world together. ”

Madara Channayya Swamiji spoke next. He stressed on Gau Hatya and said that we need to understand the nuances of the way Dalit society views Gau Hatya and why they were not aware of the importance of cow protection. “This was due to the way they lived for centuries in forest without having any opportunity to rear cattle in the traditional way. He quoted the instance of how Guruji Golwalkar impressed upon the Puri Shankaracharaya to take the task of educating the dalits of Orissa on the importance of cattle protection and enable them to rear cattle and thereby understand its importance.

Though there are many challenges that we are facing, the ills like untouchability should be ended first. Today, ‘Ghar Wapasi’ is being discussed. We need to understand as to why many dalits converted. While ‘Ghar Wapasi’ is ideal, we need to ensure that they are taken care of well, when they come back and the same abhorrent practices are not practiced. Today, there is violence in many parts of the world due to religious extremism which has also divided the people. But in India too few bad practices have created rift in our society. We all, both Dalits and non-dalits have to come together to end this practice of untouchability. The unity of Hindus will come true and all dalits will stand for the protection of our society when the differences are addressed.

I have discussed with Suresh Bhayyaji Joshi at Nagpur on the ways to end the practice of untouchability. I end my talk by hoping that we will see a society that is devoid of its ills and differences.”

Shri.Gopal Ji, VHP’s Dakshin Prant Organizing Secretary addressed the gathering next. He said that the state government has taken away the right of free speech of Togadia Ji by disallowing him to come to this event.

Gopal ji said, “An Owaisi, who claims to remove Hindus in 15 mins is allowed to speak in Bidar. The government has not taken any action yet on the culprits who raped and killed a girl in Theerthahalli. The government is trying to take over our mathas and temples. This anti-Hindu stance of the state government is shameful and we condemn it.

VHP is striving to work towards the uplifting the Hindu society. VHP is involved in several social service projects that are for the good of the society. Hindu society was being converted for the last 1000 years. However today, we see Hindus are still being converted through various means and being used in anti-national activities. Hence VHP is resolved to continue Ghar Wapasi and bring back those Hindus who wish to come back to their parent religion. Swami Vivekananda said that a Hindu who converts to Islam or Christianity is one enemy more.  Moreover, there are many Muslims and Christians who have expressed their intent to come back to Hindusim. Hence, Ghar Wapasi is a need of the hour and VHP is determined to continue it.

Hindu society too had its ills like untouchability which enabled many to convert. VHP understood this fact and worked towards removing this ill. We need to accept them with open arms and Ghar Wapasi will be successful.

We need to be practicing Hindus and there should be no differences in caste or income. We are all Hindus and we should work towards uniting the entire Hindu society.”

Finally, Vishveshwara Samiji spoke on the occasion. He said that though conversions of Hindus have been taking place for centuries, our politicians remained silent. Re-converting them back to Hindusim is seen as a crime.

“I ask if conversion is not a crime why is re-converting seen as a crime. I have not yet received a favorable reply to this question. Conversion should be completely stopped. I condemn the appeasement politics of the government which has one law for Hindus and another law for minorities.

Conversions can’t be completely blamed on other religions. Hindu society too has few ills like untouchability that enabled many people to convert to other religions. It is our responsibility to see that there is a conducive atmosphere for the Dalits in our Hindu society. While even Muslims and Christians are not seen as untouchables, a section of our own society are deemed as untouchables. This is not acceptable. Dalits are on par with anyone else in the Hindu society. VHP is working towards a harmonious Hindu society by bringing everyone together. Many intellectuals say that VHP is anti-Dalit but this is not true. VHP is infact, working closely with both Dalits and others to remove the differences and doing a yeoman service.

Hindu society has to be strong to face its challenges. VHP is working towards this. Just as Krishna drove Arjuna as a Charioteer in the Mahabharata war, VHP is the chariot and you are the Arjunas. The sants and swamijis will drive this noble work of VHP. Let us see to it that no one is left aside in our society and let us resolve to build a string Hindu society.”

The event ended with Shri. Krishnamurthy delivering the  vote of thanks.

Bulandshahar, Uttara Pradesh: Over 15,000 RSS Swayamsevaks gathered in Ganavesh at a mega RSS Conclave ‘Swayamsevak Sangam’ at DAV College grounds, Bulandshahar in Uttar Pradesh on Feb 8. Indresh Kumar, Member, Central Executive of RSS addressed on the occasion.

बुलंदशहर : . राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ की अखिल भारतीय कार्यकारिणी के सदस्य मा. इंद्रेश जी ने अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति बराक हुसैन ओबामा की टिप्पणी पर कहा कि अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति बराक ओबामा को ना तो भारतीय संस्कृति का पता है, और ना ही वे महात्मा गांधी के बारे में जानते हैं. अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति बराक हुसैन ओबामा का बयान देकर भारतीयता का अपमान किया है.

बुलंदशहर में डीएवी कालेज के खेल मैदान में रविवार को राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के स्वयंसेवक संगम में 15 हजार गणवेशधारी स्वयंसेवकों ने भाग लिया. इंद्रेश जी ने किसी पार्टी का नाम ना लेते हुये कहा कि आज हिंदुस्तान बदल रहा है और इसकी शुरूआत हो चुकी है. अब हमें चीन और पाकिस्तान की धमकी नहीं चाहिये. न्यूक्लियर के प्रयोग पर भारत पर प्रतिबंध लगे यह भी स्वीकार नहीं करेंगे. भारत देश विकास की ओर अग्रसर है और वह दिन दूर नहीं जब हम विकसित देशों की श्रेणी में खड़े होंगे और विश्व में भारत का कद बढ़ेगा.

उन्होंने बलात्कार, कन्या भ्रूण हत्या, महिला उत्पीड़न दहेज हत्या और छेड़छाड़ की घटनाओं पर कहा कि सरकार को कानून में बदलाव करना चाहिये. ऐसा होता है तो राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ भी सहयोग करेगा. जिससे समाज को ऐसी घटनाओं से छुटकारा मिले. उन्होंने कहा कि भारत में सब हिंदू हैं और कोई अलग नहीं है. सभी को पैदा करने वाला ऊपर वाला है. इसलिए सभी को एकजुट होने की जरूरत है.  संगम में बुलंदशहर, खुर्जा और ग्रेटर नोएडा से  स्वयंसेवकों ने गणवेश में भागीदारी की.

बाद में पत्रकारों से बातचीत में कहा कि ओबामा ने भारत में धार्मिक असहिष्णुता बढऩे की जो टिप्पणी की है, वह उनकी अज्ञानता और कम समझ को दर्शाता है. ओबामा को भारत की संस्कृति और राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी के बारे में ज्ञान अधूरा है या समझ कम है. उनका यह बयान देशवासियों के लिये आहत करने वाला व भारतीयता का अपमान है. भारत तो बहुधर्मी और सहिष्णुता वाला देश है. यहां सभी पंथ के लोगों को सम्मान मिलता है. भारत से अधिक सहिष्णुता अमेरिका व इंलैंग्ड में नहीं है. उन्होंने कहा, अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति की टिप्पणी इस बात की सूचक है कि वह चर्च को बढ़ावा देने के लिये ऐसी टिप्पणी कर रहे हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि किसी भी देश को आतंकवाद को प्रश्रय नहीं देना चाहिये. यह सभी के लिये घातक है.

Gaziabad, Feb 9: Asserting that each one born in India is Hindu by birth irrespective of his sect, caste, region and language, Rashtriay Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohanrao Bhagwat stressed the need to make them realise and understand with pride their Hindu heritage irrespective of their sects, castes, regions and languages.

Bhagwat was addressing the valedictory of a three-day-long programme of the RSS units in western Uttar Pradesh in Gaziabad on Sunday. Echoing the stated RSS stand on Hindu Rashta, Bhagwat called upon the RSS swayamsevaks to mix with the society and make them feel proud of their Hindu heritage and culture.

Stressing that Hindu unity will prove harbinger of bliss for the humanity he said that the world will be happy and peaceful once the Hindus are united and awakened.

Bhagwat claimed that the situation, which was against the Hindus for last many decades, was now in their favour.

“Now, we are in a position to weigh and assess our power. It is not the favourable or unfavourable situation which helps us in pursuing our plans. It is our power which ensures our success. But it is also true that currently the circumstances are in our favour. This was not the situation before. In the past, nobody in the world used to care about the Sangh. This has now changed,” Bhagwat told Sangh workers.

The RSS Chief further asserted that Hindutva is a cultural and civilizational ideology and everybody living in India should consider himself a Hindu.

Bhagwat said the RSS had always worked for the interests of India. “In the past there have been several attacks on the RSS, but the Sangh has always worked for the unity of the country.”

India is a Hindu Rashtra: Quoting from Rabindra Nath Tagore the RSS Chief said the in a situation of differences the ideology of Hindutva would unite the society.

He emphasised on the need to bring about “unity” in the country and the role of Hindutva in achieving that purpose. The other countires in the world stress on one language, one god and one religion, but we Hindus learnt to honour and celebrate diversity realizing the underlying unity in diversity, he explained.

Calling for refrain while criticising Pakistan and its policies the RSS Chief said that the more we react the more it will gain importance at the international level. It is time to deal with our neighbours with a definite and resolute policies, he added drawing a parallel between the policies of Narendra Modi government with those of Lord Shrikrishna.

Narrating a story from the legendary Mahabharata the RSS leader equated India’s neighbour with the demon whose original size was very small but could increase its size proportionate to the resistance offered. This has happened with our neighbour who had been getting much publicity at the international level, he said.

When shrikrishna confronted this demon, he did not give him importance neither offered too much resistance as was done by Satyaki and Arjun. Following this the demon was reduced to his original size and Srikrishna caught him has tied him. Indirectly endorsing Modi government’s foreign policy he said that the country needed the policies of Shrikrishna to deal with neighbours.

Terming terrorists as new avatar of demons, he called upon the government and policy makers to frame strategies to completely destroy these modern demons as was done in the yore by the great heroes.

In his 45 minute speech Dr Bhagwat appealed to the people to participate in Sangh activities to know it better than rely on media reports

Indore, February 10, 2015 : RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat stated that “Hindutva is a way of life which has a long and rich history of socio-cultural values and teachings; thus it has the power and ability to become a role model for the world at the time when every other country, religion and entity feels insecure due to the race of making money and armament”. He further states that a Hindu society can provide the guidance and enlighten the human race which faces hardships in the 21st century.

Kanpur February 11: RSS  Sarasanghachalak Mohan ji Bhagwat will visit Kanpur Prant from February 14 to 18, 2015 on his official tour for the organisational meetings.

Mohan ji Bhagwat will arrive Kanpur on February 14 and will be in the city till February 18. Special camps are being set up in Mundhana on the outskirts of the city.

On February 15, Sunday, RSS Sarasanghachalak Bhagwatji  to address a gathering in which over 20,000 RSS Swayamsevaks are expected to participate at Railway Stadium in Saketnagar. The event  will be specifically  for RSS cadres, but not for general public.

Bhagwat ji to attend and address different meetings of the organisation on February 16, 17 and 18.
